Hi, I’m Daisy Mae! I’m a shy girl who just needs a little time to figure out that I’m safe and loved. I came to the shelter because my previous home just wasn’t the right fit for me, and I can be a little timid when meeting new people and experiencing new things. Once I start to feel comfortable, I’m happy to accept treats and enjoy some gentle attention. I may take a little patience in the beginning, but I have so much potential to become a loyal and devoted companion for someone who is willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace. I’m an active girl, too, so once I’m feeling confident, I bet my playful and energetic side will really shine! I could also do well with a friendly, confident dog who can help show me the ropes. Because I’m a timid girl, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can understand that I need some time to warm up.
