Her previous owners loved her dearly, but as they have gotten older and experienced health issues, they realized they could no longer provide the activity and exercise Evie needs. Now that she’s settled into Wisconsin, Evie is looking for a family who will enjoy having an active, fun-loving girl by their side.Evie loves people, enjoys being around other dogs, and is good with kids. She is house trained and crate trained and loves being included in whatever her people are doing. One of her favorite things is going for golf cart rides! As a Border Collie, Evie is happiest when she has opportunities for exercise, play, training, and mental enrichment. She would love a family who enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, games, and spending time together. She doesn’t need to be busy every minute of the day, but she does need a family who understands the needs of her breed and can give her appropriate outlets for her energy.Evie has lived with outside cats, but she will chase them, so a home without cats would be best for her. Her leash manners are okay and will likely continue to improve with consistency and practice.Evie is a sweet girl who has a lot of love and fun to give. Her previous family wants what is best for her, and we’re hoping her Wisconsin chapter leads her to a family who will keep her active, engaged, safe, and very much a part of their lives.Evie is ready to meet you!Age: 6 yearsBreed: Border CollieWeight: 45 lbsGender: FemaleSpayed: YesHouse Trained: YesCrate Trained: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Kids: YesGood with Cats: NoLeash Manners: OkayInterested in giving Evie her forever home? Story
Hi, I’m Daisy Mae! I’m a shy girl who just needs a little time to figure out that I’m safe and loved. I came to the shelter because my previous home just wasn’t the right fit for me, and I can be a little timid when meeting new people and experiencing new things. Once I start to feel comfortable, I’m happy to accept treats and enjoy some gentle attention. I may take a little patience in the beginning, but I have so much potential to become a loyal and devoted companion for someone who is willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace. I’m an active girl, too, so once I’m feeling confident, I bet my playful and energetic side will really shine! I could also do well with a friendly, confident dog who can help show me the ropes. Because I’m a timid girl, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can understand that I need some time to warm up. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her, I might be your girl! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 54.8 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Hi, I'm Little Bear! I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but don't let that fool you. I just like to take my time getting to know new people and new places. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my playful, affectionate personality starts to shine. I'll need a patient family that will let me adjust at my own pace and won't rush the process. I'm a fun-loving, active guy who is always ready for my next adventure! Whether it's exploring a big yard, visiting the dog park, going for a car ride, or simply tagging along with my favorite people, I'm happiest when I'm out and about. I love to play, learn quickly, and enjoy being included in whatever my family is doing. My dream home would have lots of space for me to run and burn off my energy, whether that's a large fenced yard or a country home where I can stretch my legs. I'd do well with an active family that enjoys getting outside and taking me along on adventures. I also get along well with other dogs and cats, so I'd be happy to share my home with furry siblings. I could also do well with respectful children who are ready for a playful companion. Most importantly, I'm looking for people who understand that building trust takes time and are happy to let me settle in at my own pace. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience before showing you his wonderful personality, I can't wait to meet you!
