Story
Meet Jillian! This charming blue merle girl will melt your heart with her bubbly personality and beauty! Jillian loves meeting new people and treats every person as if they were her long lost friend. She loves following her foster family around the house, snuggling with them, or napping at their feet. Outdoors, she enjoys playing tag with her male BC foster brother, but she does not like to interact with the foster family's female dog, so she would be best in a house as an only dog or with a male. Jillian knows basic commands such as sit, down, and shake, and she is learning to be crate trained. She is very food motivated and loves getting her reward treats! Jillian does well on leash when heeling and is enjoying her daily trail adventures with her foster family. She can pull when excited by other dogs or prey animals, and her foster family is working on this through recall practice with treats. She has a strong prey drive and some herding tendencies, so she will do best in a home with no small children or cats. Jillian is current on vaccinations and is spayed. Keep an eye out for updates as her foster home gets to know more about her! Location: Madison Area Please Visit Jillian and her friends on our website https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!***   Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on January 9th and arrive on January 10th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!!   Updated: 1/6/2025 Dog Name: Logan Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Australian Shepherd Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 51 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description:Logan found himself with no time in a small rural shelter, the local networker reached out to our Texas rescue partners and pleaded for his life. He was saved with another small dog after they became best friends in their kennel run! Logan is the life of the party, he will hug and kiss anyone and everyone! He gets the zoomies when he meets kind people and he loves to play with other dogs. This love bug can't wait to find a family of his own and to run and play in the Wisconsin snow!  Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 7, 2026, 1:48 am
