Story
Meet Carrie the Border Collie Mix ***** Fostered in Franklin, Wi ***** Carrie is an adorable 2 month old, female, mixed breed puppy. She has a beautiful black and white coat and the prettiest eyes. We expect her to be a medium-sized adult. Carrie found herself in a tough situation when she was abandoned in rural Texas. She was brought into the shelter by animal control. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and have her very own family. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.

Story
About Me: Name: Lane, Latrell Breed (or best guess): Border Collie/Farm Dog mix Approximate Age: 9-12 weeks estimated on 6/24/25 Gender: M Approximate Weight: around 10 lb on 6/24/25 Adoption Fee: $600 each Requirements: Loving Family Why In Rescue: Owner Surrender from farm Profile:   Lane, Latrell, and Lars (adopted) are part of a litter of Farm Dog Mixes - possibly Border Collie mixed with another farm dog.  They are approximately 9 weeks old but could be slightly older.  They have lived outside until now, so will have to learn all about home life.  They will need help with housetraining.  They are super adorable, playful and getting more outgoing every day!  Apply for them now so you can get your new pup home as soon as possible! If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS August 16, 2025, 2:44 pm

She is so happy and wiggly. She looks deep into your soul and bonds so well with her people. She loves other dogs! She is active and is ready to go on any adventure with her new family! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT .
