Looking for a little sweetheart to add some extra love to your life? Meet Juju, short for Juliet, a super cute young lady who is ready to find her happily ever after. We think this adorable little mixed breed may be a Border Terrier and Chihuahua mix, and she is making the journey all the way from Alabama, along with her mom, Gigi (see last photo), in search of the loving forever home she deserves. Sadly, Juju found herself looking for a new family after her previous owners went through a divorce. Through no fault of her own, this petite pup is now hoping for a second chance at happiness. Weighing in at just 10 pounds, Juju is the perfect size for lap lounging, cuddles, and being your very best little companion. She's a friendly girl who gets along great with kids and other dogs. In fact, a home with a furry buddy or two might suit Juju just fine. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
