Yep, the name fits—I’ve got the sweetest little scruffy face you’ve ever seen, or so everyone keeps telling me. I’m a young border terrier/schnauzer mix (that’s the best guess!), and I was rescued from a very full shelter in Alabama… definitely not a place any puppy should be. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers got me out of there and into an amazing foster home. It’s been wonderful, but what I really want now is to find my forever people. Maybe that could be you? Let me tell you a bit about myself: I’m super friendly, I adore other dogs, and I ride in the car like a total champ. I’ve got medium energy—I’m always up for fun, but I settle down easily and absolutely love cuddles. Snuggle time is my specialty. I’m also at that perfect age for training and socialization, so I’m ready to learn whatever you want to teach me. I hear that makes me a pretty great addition to almost any home!
If you’re looking for a sweet, scruffy, easygoing buddy to love, apply today! I can’t wait to meet you.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
