Thistle is a sweet, gentle boy who has blossomed during his time at AAR. With every walk and every kind word from the volunteers, he has learned to trust people more and more. His soft eyes and calm presence make it clear—he wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved.Thistle’s early life was unstable. He and his companion dog, Juniper, lived at a home where different families came and went, leaving them without consistent care or affection. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in and brought them both to AAR so they could finally have the chance at a better life.Juniper will be staying at AAR a little longer to receive some healthcare she needs, but Thistle is ready now. He’s ready for a family who will show him what it means to truly belong. He would love a quiet, patient home where he can continue building confidence, enjoy his daily walks, and soak up all the affection he has been waiting for.Thistle has a tender heart and a hopeful spirit—he just needs someone to give him the stable, loving home he deserves. Megan is happiest when she's around people, and her sweet, friendly nature shines when she's cuddling up with her humans. She's eager to please and makes a loyal companion, always ready for a new adventure or a cozy movie night. Megan is not a fan of cats and most dogs, so she would thrive best as the only pet in her forever home. She's looking for a loving family who can give her the attention and care she deserves. If you're ready for a devoted and affectionate addition to your family, Megan is waiting for you! Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who’ll be by your side through everything, Oscar might just be your perfect match! This sweet, affectionate pup is a true Velcro dog — happiest when he’s near his person. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and dogs or in new environments, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and loving personality shines through. Don’t let that soft side fool you, though — he’s got plenty of energy! Oscar loves playtime and will thrive with daily exercise and mental stimulation. Chew toys are a must, especially while he learns what’s okay to nibble on. Oscar is still working on his potty training and will need a patient, consistent adopter to help him keep improving. Because he bonds so closely, he can get a bit anxious when left alone, so a family who’s home often or willing to help him build confidence would be ideal. Oscar is a male Cairn Terrier mix with an estimated date of birth of 10/15/24. He weighs 13 lbs.

Dottie is a sweet, gentle girl with a playful side. She entertains herself wonderfully, but gets along well with other dogs. We believe she is around six or seven years old. She was found wondering in a business complex completely hairless, and with good nutrition and flea medication her fur is growing in curly she seems to have some poodle mix in her genes. She walks perfectly on a leash and is a quiet girl ##2492000##
