Story
Meet Megan, a beautiful 4-year-old, 40-pound border terrier mix with a heart full of love to give! Megan is happiest when she's around people, and her sweet, friendly nature shines when she's cuddling up with her humans. She's eager to please and makes a loyal companion, always ready for a new adventure or a cozy movie night. Megan is not a fan of cats and most dogs, so she would thrive best as the only pet in her forever home. She's looking for a loving family who can give her the attention and care she deserves. If you're ready for a devoted and affectionate addition to your family, Megan is waiting for you! Adoption fee is: $150 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
BEST LITTLE PAL IN THE WORLD  DOB 9/5/25, weight 10# Hey there, everyone! I’m Cecelia, a.k.a. Ceci, a cheerful, inquisitive, and alert blonde Cairn Terrier mix gal who’s small enough for a lap-top snuggle and sturdy enough for a good romp on the lawn. Like most Cairn mixes, I do best with lots of close family contact. I’m cat-friendly and get along great with small dogs as well as kids. I’m crate trained, and I’m almost housebroken. A British breed club promotes us Cairns as the "best little pal in the world." We were originally bred to fearlessly root out foxes and badgers in the rocky Scottish countryside. Cairns became family favorites when Toto starred in "The Wizard of Oz." When I was about two months old, I was found, along with my buddy Cesar, in a box that was abandoned next to an apartment dumpster. I’m so grateful that Foster Mom welcomed us into her home with her other rescued animals. Now I’m ready to bring my cheery personality to brighten my forever home. Could that be with you? If scruffy terriers are your penchant, I was made to order for you! Arrange to meet me today! I'm anticipating crawling up in your lap for some chin and cheek scratches. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. HOPE ID D25-1119-0052 Cecelia’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. To apply online:http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Cecelia will be this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
We acquired our dog through a friend when he was a puppy. He is 2 years old, a Jack Russell Terrier / Norfolk Terrier mix. He is energetic, playful, and intelligent. He loves walks, playing fetch with balls, chew toys, stuffed animals, and bones. He does have resource guarding behaviors, especially around food and high-value items, and has bitten when items are taken from him. Because of this, he needs an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who can manage food and item boundaries safely. Adjectives: energetic, playful, intelligent, loyal, alert.
