Story
Liberty came from a hoarding situation, so we have no background information. Liberty is a sweet and fun girl. She enjoys playing with the other pups she came in with and toys. She is current on vaccinations, spayed and preventions. She loves having your attention, so a home with some older kids who want a dog to play with would be right up her alley! We are guessing she will be medium when full grown. She is not potty trained, so that is something her new family will have to spend time working with her. She came from a neglectful situation, so a lot of things will be new to her so she needs a family who has the time and patience to work with her as she gets used to walking on leash, meeting new people and all the other things she is going to encounter in her new life. This pup is currently in middle TN and transport is available thanks to our rescue partner ! Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They are to most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Hello there! My name is Tanner and I'm a very handsome young dog who's looking for a home that I can call my own. I came to the shelter as a local stray and am now ready to find the perfect family. l just know that they're out there somewhere waiting for me! I have a silky soft tan coat and eyes that totally draw you in. Just one look into my beautiful eyes and you will be hooked! I'm a polite dog who sits nicely for my treats and takes them gently from your hand. I'm a really friendly dog who's always up for an outdoor adventure and would make a great running or walking buddy. As I'm a young dog, I will need plenty of exercise on a daily basis. One of my favorite things is chasing balls, but I really need a buddy to throw them to me! I would make a great family dog but would also do well in a single household. I'm a very flexible guy! All in all, I'm a great dog and anyone would be lucky to have me. If you think I could be the one for you, please come down to the shelter so we can meet and see if we have a connection!

Hi there! My name is Rita and I'm a mature lady who's going to make the perfect companion for some lucky person. I'm pretty chill and my leash manners are impeccable. So if you like to walk, we just may be perfect for each other. And even though I'm a little older I still have a good amount of energy. And something else to keep in mind is that with age comes wisdom and I have plenty of that! In addition to being well behaved, I'm quite smart. I know the cues for sit and down and if you ask nicely, I will even give you my paw. And one more thing.. I also know sign language! I'm a real friendly girl who loves everyone I meet but am a little more selective when it comes to my four-legged friends. So if you have another dog in the house, I would really like to meet him or her prior to leaving the shelter. You know, just to make sure we get along. I can would do best in a home with no cats and children over the age of 16. I'm also crate trained. I'm a really sweet girl who can be quite affectionate. If you think we could be friends, please come on down to the shelter so we can meet. Because after all, that's exactly what I deserve at this point in my life! I'm a really chill guy who's of the extra-large variety. But that just means there's more of me to love! And I promise to give you unconditional love for the rest of my days. And even though I may be a little older, I can still be pretty active when I want to. I like chasing balls, although I don't necessarily bring them back to you! I also enjoy slow leisurely walks, followed by long naps! I'm a very social guy who loves everyone I meet.
