Adam is a sweet Poodle mix who will be even more adorable after a visit with a groomer. He arrived at the shelter on 01/20/26 with his pal Kodak. Adam is gentle, friendly and cooperative even when asked to pose wearing a hat (smile). Treats also help! He is also house trained, dog friendly and good with children. Adam is waiting to meet his forever family. He will be available for adoption on 1/27/26. Adam is 2 years old and weighs 11 pounds. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He has also tested negative for heartworms. Please stop by to meet this little bundle of personality. Adam is in run 52 and his ID # is 16472. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Meet handsome Dakota! He was surrendered to the shelter on 10/29 because he was being destructive and someone in the family wasn't being very kind to him. It was noted that Dakota is dog-friendly, but he needs work on his house-training skills. The volunteers describe Dakota as very energetic and athletic. He is a herding dog breed who will do best in a family who can keep him physically and mentally stimulated. A destructive dog is often a bored dog with no structure. Crate training and lots of activity will do wonders for Dakota. He will sit briefly when asked, and is very jumpy when excited. He'll need someone patient and kind to work with him on basic manners. If you can meet Dakota's needs, please come meet him! With a little refinement, he'll make a wonderful BFF!! Dakota is approximately 10 months old, and weighs 51 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Dakota is waiting in run 809; his ID # is 14720.
