Story
Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found dumped on the side of the road in a crate with another dog who has since been adopted. Bijou was matted and terrified when he arrived at Tiny Paws. It’s been a long road but he has made excellent progress and come such a long way in his foster home, but is still quite shy when meeting new people. Bijou is sweet and affectionate to his foster mom. He is so excited to see her that he gets the “tippy tappies” and that has become his nickname. He loves his foster siblings and we are requiring another confident dog in the home that can help show him the ropes! At this time, we are also requiring a home with a fenced yard for him. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Hi&#44 Im Baxter!<br/><br/>Life didnt start out easy for me. I came from a pretty unsanitary situation before Atlanta Humane rescued me and showed me what kindness feels like. Im still learning how to be a dog and trust people&#44 but underneath my cautious side is a heart thats so ready to love. Once I feel safe&#44 youll see how sweet and affectionate I can be!<br/><br/>Im most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isnt such a scary place. Id do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return&#44 I promise to give you all the love Ive been saving up. I cant wait to run&#44 play&#44 and just enjoy being a happy dog&#44 especially with another canine friend by my side!<br/><br/>I qualify for Welcome Trial.

Story
Tobias was bought on December 12th 2025. What was told to me was that he was around 5 1/2 weeks or so when I bought him that night for 150. After feeding him I noticed that he had worms in his stool. A ridiculous amount. ( I have pictures) immediately I set up a veterinary appointment to diagnose the issue. To my discovery he had hookworms I believe. So, immediately he was given a month’s supply of interceptor plus. Upon the next visit he was also treated for flees. His adoption signifies my repentance journey from pride. His soul and mine are worth more than my ego. I hope that he finds a great home. He had a significantly rough start and deserves affection and attention that I am just not able to give right now.
