Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Lochlan is the absolute best boy! He is a purebred, registered Border Collie. He has incredible drive and high energy and is so eager to please. We have had him since puppyhood and ensured he is crate-trained and housebroken. He has amazing athleticism and would make an amazing frisbee or agility athlete! The only reason we are not able to keep him is that we have found out that my son is highly allergic, and after allergy testing, immunotherapy, and consistent allergy medications, his health has not improved. We've had Lochlan for 3 years and he will be 4 years old on October 27 this year. His only flaw is that he may tinkle a bit when excited and meeting new people.
