She really is the best dog. She would be amazing for a young family. She’s very energetic, playful, and smart. But, she is very cuddly when she gets comfortable. She knows all The basic commands, and is amazing in walks and jogs/runs. I would really really love to keep her, but I realize that she deserves more than me. I hope she can end up with someone who’ll love her like I couldn’t.

I’ve spent the last few months in a loving foster home recovering from knee surgery, and now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to begin the chapter I’ve been waiting for. I’m a very social girl who is house trained AND crate trained, loves playing with dogs my own size, and already knows SIT, DOWN, STAY and WAIT... with even more tricks in the works! I’ve worked hard to get here, and now there’s just one thing left on my recovery plan: find a loving family and become somebody’s best friend for life. My name is Sydney and I am a 30 lb, 3 year old Mini Aussie mix, spayed, healthy, athletic, and FUN! I love people, food (all food, especially spinach!), and tennis balls. I also enjoy car rides, going to fun places (especially if you help me not feel overwhelmed by too many stranger dogs), playing fetch (best thing on the planet!), and crushed ice! My Faux Mom and I have been working really hard to get me ready for you! I have nice house manners, and am learning to have nice manners with other dogs. I live with a dog who tolerates my Mini Aussie herding style and the way I alert them to noises and squirrels! My dog friends need to give me a little space, and be OK with sharing all their toys. I eat in my crate so my dog friend doesn’t have to worry that I’ll eat all her food and we can both eat in peace. I sleep through the night in my crate, and am crated when no people are home, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m hoping for a home with a nice yard for ball play (do this enough, and I won’t need a lot of other exercise!) with no small animals (chasing is SO FUN!) and no small children (same reason). He has beautiful blue-and-brown eyes and an even more beautiful heart. He is simply one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Charley loves everyone — people, children, older adults, and other dogs. He has never met a stranger. If you’re running for office, Charley would happily help you campaign because he’d make friends with the whole neighborhood in no time. He would fit beautifully into a busy home, greeting visitors with a happy tail wag and a friendly hello. He would also be just as content in a quieter home where he can be someone’s devoted companion. Meet Fleur! This little beauty is ready to meet her new family! She is 1 year old, 36 lbs., spayed, heartworm negative and vaccined. Her current foster home is an empty nester and she does great! She loves to go on daily walks, is great with other dogs and will do well in a home with a canine sibling. As a family dog, Fleur would do best with kids over the age of 8. She is a bit too interested in the shop kitties at her foster home and likes to herd them back if they get too close to the door. A home without cats is recommended. Fleur is very intelligent and enjoys learning tricks and working food puzzles. As a young dog, an active family that will continue with her training is ideal.

Sadly, his mom couldn't leave the shelter due to protocol and contracted distemper, leaving Scout as the sole survivor of his litter. Since then, Scout has been living in boarding, waiting patiently for his chance at a stable, loving home. Sadie is a sweet and loving senior dog. She is 13 years old with a lot of life left in her. She is spunky and silly and loves people. She is good around children, but prefers a house without them, which we have 2 children. She enjoys the quiet and calmness. She loves to go on walks and look around. She loves to sunbathe. She does not do the best in the car, but she is not used to it with us. Sadie does need daily ear drops to ease discomfort from allergies. She also receives yearly allergy (cytopoint) injection at the start of summer and sometimes at the end. This helps reduce itching from the summer heat and sunbathing!
