Story
Meet Harmony! A 9 month old, 29 pound, Female, Doodle mix pup. Harmony, like any puppy, is a high-energy girl who is looking for her daily joys of running as fast as she can, playing with her toys and having anyone and everyone become her instant best friend. Harmony has lots of puppy behavior and would do best in a home that can give her strict and dilient training. If you’re searching for a dog who brings pure joy, laughter, and a whole lot of personality, Harmony might be the girl for you. This energetic, playful, endlessly enthusiastic girl is a one-dog pep rally, ready to cheer up during the mid-week work day. Harmony thrives on attention, and bonds quickly with anyone who gives her a chance. With a little structure and a lot of love, she’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be. Harmony might suit best as a sole dog of a home, soaking up all the attention, but with the right play mate, she could do great with another dog friend. Story
Adrian recently had a dental cleaning and a mass removal on his shoulder. He is healing beautifully and ready to find his forever home. Adrian is 14 years old, weighs 40 lbs and is looking for a special home that understands the needs of a senior dog. Adrian is a sweet, affectionate little shadow who wants to be wherever his person is. He’s a true velcro dog, if you move, he’s right behind you. His favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch, and if he can’t be there, he will happily settle at your feet. He also loves donut-style beds and cozy enclosed spaces, and often chooses to nap in the hallway. Despite his age, Adrian still enjoys a short game of fetch if the ball is tossed right in front of him. He walks beautifully on a leash and stays right by your side. As a senior, Adrian does have some special needs. He has limited vision, especially at night, and can become disoriented. The veterinarian believes some of his pacing and nighttime howling may be related to pain, cognitive decline, or a combination of both. Because he doesn’t always know where he is and can’t see well, he may bump into furniture, walls, or other dogs. His current medications include: • Gabapentin 200 mg every 12 hours for pain (can be given up to 3 times daily if needed) • Denamarin once daily for liver support • Trazodone 100 mg at bedtime, given with Gabapentin if he is pacing or howling at night Adrian prefers soft foods, though he will occasionally crunch on treats. He isn’t very interested in toys or bones. Grooming is important for Adrian’s comfort. His coat must be kept short, especially during warm weather, as he overheats easily. Hair around his eyes should be trimmed so he can see, and his paws should be kept neat to help him maintain traction while wearing his Tiger Toes. He tolerates his ear cleaning, and regular grooming helps keep him comfortable. Adrian is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years being someone’s constant companion. He may require a little extra care, but he gives plenty of love in return. Adrian needs someone that works from home or is home the majority of the day. He does fantastic with other dogs, but if there is another dog in the home they need to be gentle and low energy. If you are interested in adopting Adrian, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2735940##

Story
Rush is an 1 year old, 40 pound Parti Poodle.  He’s the definition of a happy pup — affectionate, playful, and absolutely loves everyone he meets. Whether it’s a human, a dog, or a toy, Rush believes every moment is worth celebrating. This charming boy currently weighs about 44 pounds and is both leash and crate trained. He’s doing great with his potty training and continues to impress his foster family with how quickly he learns. Rush’s story began in the shelter, where he arrived with fur so painfully matted it was cutting off blood flow to his limbs. But those days are behind him — with his fresh haircut and newfound freedom, he’s thriving and showing off his playful, goofy personality. Watching him zoom around, tail wagging and curls bouncing, is pure joy. Rush is ready to find his forever home — one filled with love, laughter, and endless cuddles. Story
Floki is a light brown Standard Poodle who is 11 years old. He is extremely friendly, social, and loves people. He is afraid of thunderstorms but otherwise has a very easy going personality. He enjoys lying in the grass and relaxing in the sun, whether it is summer or winter. Despite his age, he acts much younger and still has plenty of energy and enthusiasm.

Story
Chaska is 5 years old and is also very friendly, although he is more reserved when meeting new people. I adopted him during the COVID period, and because he spent so much time at home with only our family and his brother, he can be cautious at first. Once he becomes comfortable, he is affectionate and loyal. He loves swimming, being around water, and spending time in the pool. He acts like a supervisor, always checking on everyone in the house and making sure he knows where everyone is before settling down to rest.

Story
Hi, This is Thay. He was rescued from a hoarding situation. Was adopted and returned at no fault of his own. This is his chance to find his real furever home. He'd do best in a home with another dog that loves to play. Older kids/no kids. He's actually a low maintenance and easy going dog. He doesn't get into stuff nor chew things. He's around 30ish lbs. Crate/potty trained. Pretty good on leash. He's such a sweetie 💕 Thay came from a difficult hoarding situation, but he’s made incredible progress and has adapted beautifully to family life. He gets along great with our pets and is a total love bug once he feels comfortable. While he can be cautious around new people and unfamiliar animals, his gentle and affectionate personality really shines through. He’s fully potty trained and crate trained, and one of his cutest traits is his happy little hops when he gets excited. He would do best in a home with older children or no kids, where he can continue to build confidence and soak up all the love he deserves. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, I’m Arlo! I know my scruffy face is pretty adorable, but my foster mom says my sweet heart is even better. Before coming to Dallas DogRRR, I lived in a hoarding situation, so I’m still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Every day I get a little braver and a little more confident. My foster mom says I have a very old soul, and I think she’s right. I’m a quiet, gentle guy who loves having a routine and knowing I have a safe place to call my own. I’m happiest in a calm home with patient people who will let me blossom at my own pace. Another confident dog would be a big bonus—I learn a lot by watching my furry friends! I also enjoy spending time outside, and one thing that surprises everyone… I actually love bath time! I don’t need a lot to be happy. Just a soft bed, kind humans, a little patience, and the chance to keep learning what it means to be loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a whole lot of scruffy cuteness, I think we might just be the perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you!
