Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain… Ian might just be your perfect match. This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. Snuggles Included: Once the zoomies are out, Ian is all about couch time. He’ll curl up beside you, toy in tow, and drift off while you watch TV. The perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Communication Style (aka his signature move): Ian has the best voice—a raspy, screechy, baby pterodactyl sound that he proudly uses to let you know when he’s ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. It’s hilarious, endearing, and very effective. He’ll also quietly go sit by the door, so keep an eye out—he’s a good boy who just needs you to notice his polite signals. Mealtime & Care: Ian is an enthusiastic foodie, so he uses a slow feeder bowl to keep mealtime safe and comfortable. Medical Transparency: Due to his past injury, Ian has diabetes insipidus. The good news: • No injections required • Managed with oral medication twice daily • Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well-managed, and he’s living a happy, active, zoomie-filled life. The Perfect Home for Ian: • An active home that enjoys play, laughter, and a little chaos • A consistent adopter who can manage his simple medical routine • A respectful dog companion—or he’d love being your one and only • Someone who appreciates a quirky, lovable personality Ian isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’ll make you laugh daily, keep life interesting, and then curl up next to you like he’s always belonged there. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Marge & Willa…better together! We had an approved adopter who was going to adopt both of them but they’ve decided they aren’t sure if they’re ready to take on 2 dogs. Totally understandable but we’re hoping there is a home out there for these 2 so they can stay together! They will not be ready to go to their new home until July due to undergoing heartworm treatment. Marge and Willa are the cutest little girls who were abandoned by their family when they moved. We believe they are about 2 years old. Marge is a medium sized girl who weighs about 35lbs. We believe she is a boxer mix or boston terrier mix. She is SO INCREDIBLY SWEET! She is a cuddler and will crawl right into your lap and cuddle for as long as you will let her. She has the sweetest personality. She loves other dogs and is very submissive. Willa is a medium sized girl who weighs about 45lbs. We believe she is a boxer mix or boston terrier mix. Willa is a little bit higher energy than her sister, Marge, but is equally as sweet and loving. She enjoys play time as well as cuddle time. She loves other dogs and is very submissive. They started at the Arkansas Paws in Prison Program on 4/20 where they are being trained for all basic obedience, house training, leash training, and some tricks as well! They did test positive for heartworms and will be treated before going to a new home. We hope to have a home lined up for them once they graduate and finish heartworm treatment. They are very bonded and we would love nothing more than for them to be adopted together. But we know how hard it is to find a home for 2 dogs together, so we hope their experience at Paws in Prison will help them gain some independence from one another. We would definitely consider adopting them seperately for the right homes. Marge and Willa are located in Arkansas. They can be adopted locally, or can be transported to the northeast if adopted there. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. For more info, email apps.aasr@gmail.com To apply to adopt, click here: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
Our sweet Dixie was found as a stray on the loud and scary streets of Houston. She was brought to a high-kill shelter but was saved from euthanasia just in the nick of time. She was brought up to our foster in Salem OR, where, for the first time in her life, she was finally safe and loved. When we first met her, she was scared and unsure of the world around her. But today she is a HAPPY baby who loves playing with other dogs and soaking up all the love she can get. At first, she can be a little nervous around new humans, but with a little time and some yummy treats, she warms up pretty quickly. She is incredibly smart and highly food motivated. She learned how to walk on a leash in a single day and then how to "sit" the next day in just a couple of hours. She is a year old but still has the puppy playfulness and curiosity. She has learned to LOVE going for walks and running and playing with other dogs. But she also loves napping, chewing on her bones and snuggling on the couch. Dixie has the cutest underbite, which causes her lip to get caught on her teefs. Her nose has the slightest upturn, and her eyes are slightly turned outward. She is literally one-of-a kind, and we think she is just perfectly imperfect. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She is currently fostered with dogs and a cat, so we know she is good with them. Based on her docile temperament, we believe she would be perfect with kids too but may need some time to warm up before she played with them. Dixie is currently in a foster home in Salem, Oregon. She is available for meet and greets with approved applicants. Dogs like Dixie are the reason rescue matters. One chance can change everything. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby girl a part of your family, then please fill out an adoption application found at SpringBranchRescue.org or email rachel.springbranchrescue@gmail.com for more information about her. ##2735778##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Gaston — yes, that Gaston… handsome, charming, and working on becoming the confident little Frenchie I was meant to be. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m on a journey to find my forever home. I came here with my brother after our previous owner could no longer care for us financially. When we first arrived, we both had pretty bad skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. It wasn’t the best start, but I’m already feeling better and getting healthier every day. Right now, I’m thriving in my foster home! I live with three kids and a dog, and I absolutely love it. My foster family says I’m doing really well and continue to gain confidence every day. Being part of a family has helped me learn so much about love, routines, and all the good things life has to offer. Toys, playtime, cuddles—it’s all new to me, but I’m starting to see why everyone says it’s so great. French Bulldogs are usually playful, goofy, and full of personality, and that side of me is beginning to shine as I come out of my shell. I am also being worked on with leash training.  I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m ready to go home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $250 transport fee. (I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 10, 2026, 2:55 pm

Story
Celia, the petite pug Celia is an adorable 2 yo petite fawn pug with a couple of unique features. Her legs are a bit longer than usual for a pug. She puts them to good use prancing, zooming, and playfully pawing her human & dog friends. Somewhere in her past, her tail was damaged, so it doesn’t corkscrew; however, it does wag with enthusiasm when she is happy (which is most of the time!) Celia howls to greet you, her mouth in a little “O” shape as an “ow-wooo” sings hello. She is intelligent, cuddly, affectionate, and best of all…a PUG!!! She is ready for her forever home. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
