She`s learning that human`s aren`t all that scary and is enjoying all the belly rubs that come with living in a loving foster home! She loves curling up in a comfy dog bed while her foster mama watches TV! She has met other dogs and even a cat and does fantastic! She loved the company of the other dogs and respected the cats space and didn`t chase him. After spending the first part of her life being used for breeding, she`s learning all about soft beds, toys, and getting pets. She loves playing with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with another dog. Everything is new and a little scary, so Porg is looking for a patient family who will give her space when she needs it. She`s not quite ready to take treats from foster mom yet, but she has started asking for belly rubs and pets sometimes. When his fosters first met him, he was the very first one to crawl over for cuddles and start handing out sweet little puppy kisses like they were free samples at Costco. With his soft fur, squishy little face, and loving personality, falling in love with him is basically unavoidable. Even though he’s still a baby, Apple Pie is already showing off his brains. On walks he’s been very well behaved, and he’s practicing commands like sit, stay, and come like a little overachiever. Honestly, he’s the kind of student who reminds the teacher there was homework. He’s still working on potty training and adjusting to foster life, but he’s trying his very best. In his crate he’s been a perfect little gentleman — no toy destruction, no blanket chaos, just a good boy waiting patiently. Apple Pie has so much love to give.
