Story
Hi, I`m Dionne! A 9-month-old, ~25 lb Boston Terrier mix. I am a timid little girl at first, but once I warm up and feel safe, I am the silliest, sweetest, most loving and loyal companion one could ask for.Personality:Dionne may start off a little cautious with new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes an affectionate, loyal little shadow. She’s a pro snuggler, gives excellent kisses, and enjoys short bursts of playful energy before settling in for cuddles. She loves; walks, scratches, toys, treats, bones, and even chasing her own tail.Training & House Manners:- Potty trained- Sleeps through the night quietly in her crate and keeps it clean- Crate trained during the workday — relaxes calmly while her foster parents are away- SUPER SMART and treat-motivated which makes her eager to please/learn, she already knows “sit”, `lay`, `paw`, `high five` and more!- Good on leash and loves getting out for walks and enjoys all the smells - will need continued training as there is some leash pulling (mostly due to excitement) and some barking at strangers on walks, positive signs of improvement here already, but more work to do for sure) - Loves scratches and will melt in your lap if you hit the right spotGood with dogs and kids, but too excited for cats! More on this:- Dogs: Yes! She enjoys the resident dog in her foster home and loved meeting dogs of all sizes at a recent adoption event- Kids: Yes! She was gentle, sweet, and loved climbing into laps for kisses or playing fetch when she`s met kids- Cats: No. Dionne gets overly excited around cats and small animals, so she will need a cat-free homeIdeal Home:Dionne will thrive with an adopter who can give her some time and patience to warm up. Once she trusts you, she bonds deeply and becomes a devoted, loving companion.Follow Her JourneyFind more stories, photos, and videos of Dionne on our social pages:Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffIncInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jrspupsnstuff/Ready to meet Dionne? Story
We currently live in FLORIDA! We will transport her to new home. No M&G is possible! Charlotte is 5 yo. She was purchased as a puppy in WI. Charlotte is playful, energetic, loving and well behaved. She loves human interaction and makes a great companion. She is crate trained but does not require crating when left alone. She has never been destructive when left by herself and eagerly awaits her pet owners return. She enjoys her walks and runs at the dog park and is an excellent fetcher. She loves car rides. We are relocating states and wish for Charlotte to return to the midwest. Florida humid sub tropic climate has been hard on Charlotte so we are hoping for a loving family or individual in WI, MN or IL that is searching for a small canine companion. Charlotte is accustomed to a great deal of human interaction daily and being a central part of her owners life since we are retired. She will follow you every where you go and loves to snuggle up and nap next to her owners.

Story
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Greg was originally adopted over a year ago but his family is seeking a new home. Greg loves his people and does well with the dogs in his home. He struggles with visitors and needs a home that can work with this and be consistent with the boundaries bulldogs need. He’s a lovable lump, but becomes a bossy bouncer to those he’s not sure should be admitted into his house. Greg has experienced IVDD as many frenchies do, so a home that has one level would help Greg keep his back safe. He can live with other dogs who won’t play rough with him or challenge him to do more than his potato body should. Frenchie are not beginner dogs so someone who knows and understands the breed is a must. Being a frenchie, preference will be given to those who are committed and experienced with this breed. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Story
My name is Rocko and I’m joining the Paddy’s Paws family as a local surrender. I have always lived with other dogs and have met the 5 dogs of all ages and sizes in my foster home just fine. My foster family will work on developing a crate routine and I'll get a break every 3-4 hours during a work day to make sure I have lots of time and attention. I have enjoyed their couch already and probably wouldn't fuss if you had stairs to help my potato body get up there, as I prefer to do it myself versus being picked up. Bulldog independence is important to me :) I am not yet neutered, but will be in foster. My new family will need to be patient with me being recently altered mature male. Those hormones need to subside so I can catch on to your routine! I am most definitely a bulldog with my squatty body and bulldog antics! To know them is to love them, and as bulldog owners know, they have a personality all their own and need guidance, structure, and tolerance for gas ;) My foster family also found out I likely have Idiopathic Epilepsy. This isn’t uncommon in my breed and is managed by medication. For this reason, I am looking for a family with Frenchie experience or bulldog experience. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
