Story
Meet Charlotte! Charlotte is a 5-year-old, 23 lb French Bulldog with a sweet personality and classic Frenchie charm. She is great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. One of her favorite things is playtime with her doggy friends, and she truly thrives with canine companionship. Charlotte has a fun little quirk: she can go up stairs but needs help getting back down them. She is still working on being house trained and has gotten a bit more comfortable on a leash, she will go for a walk with a little bit of convincing but hasn't figured out that’s where to go potty. We have been utilizing doggy diapers as potty pads have not been effective. She’s looking for a patient, loving home that will embrace her quirks and spoil her with affection and playtime. If you’re searching for a gentle, dog-friendly Frenchie who loves companionship and play, Charlotte may be your perfect match. Charlotte is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Addie is the snortiest, snuffliest dog you could ever hope to find! She’s very friendly and up for adventures, although with her short snout, she shouldn’t overexert herself, especially when it’s hot outside. She is also quite content snoozing on the couch at home.    This girl is good with kids and would make a fantastic family pet. She will likely need to be the only animal in the home - Addie does not always get along with other dogs and has a high prey drive towards smaller animals.   Addie is house and crate trained. We can’t wait to see this good girl find her forever home!    Like all SAAP adoptables, Addie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and flea/heartworm prevention. The only thing she is missing is you! January 22, 2026, 9:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Griffin, a sweet and gentle boy from a litter of seven who is waiting for a patient, loving family to call his own! Born on August 30, 2025, Griffin weighs 18 pounds and has a quiet charm all his own. Griffin’s mom is a beautiful pure bred Boston Terrier who found herself on the streets.  We suspect the dad was a local unnamed politician that promised the moon.  A good Samaritan rescued the mom and fostered her puppies until they were 8 weeks old.   Griffin is our shy boy. He loves attention and affection, but he needs a little time to get to know you first. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines through! He adores toys and playtime and promises to be a fun and loving companion once he has built his trust in you. This little pup needs someone with the time and patience to continue his training and socialization, helping him build confidence and grow into a well-adjusted adult dog. If Griffin sounds like the perfect, sweet addition to your family, please complete an application on our website: www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart!
