Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Molly is seeking a forever home where she can be a cherished lap dog and live a leisurely life. She has lived with other dogs and cats and tolerates them, but a home where she could be the queen of the castle and enjoy peaceful retirement years would be ideal. She doesn't enjoy the hustle and bustle of small children in the home so a family where everyone is all grown up would be her favorite. She loves to burrow in blankets and spend time in the sun. She hopes her golden years can be spent with you! Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Colt is about five years old and weighs around 28 pounds. Colt is an adorable, snuggly fellow. He has experience living with dogs of all sizes and does well with everyone. Colt would love a forever home that is relaxed and quiet. He loves to snuggle and hang out with his people. He does well in his crate and is overall a quiet dog. Colt is very friendly and will cuddle with anyone who lets him. He is used to using a dog door in his Texas foster home. He has experience living with older children/teens, but does not have experience with younger children or cats. While Colt enjoys being a couch potato, he also has shown he does well on a leash and secure harness for walks. Plus, he is treat motivated! He would love to find a family as chill as him! Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Story
Meet Bubbles! Hey, y'all, my name is Bubbles! I'm sure when you hear the name Bubbles for a dog, you think, "That's gotta be one happy dog", well, I'm actually the happiest dog! As a senior lady weighing just 17 pounds, it's become my mission to live every day to the fullest. I go potty outside, like a true lady should. I get along with other dogs, cats, and kids, and have even been around goats and chickens without hesitation! In a world where you can be anything, be kind. Am I right? That means being nice to new people and other animals, and I have that mastered, too! One of my most favorite things will always be a nice, comfy dog bed with some blankets to cuddle into, followed closely by attention from my humans. Or vice versa. I get super happy about new adventures in the car and meeting new friends, and I do everything with joy! Remember, live every day to the fullest. Foster mom says I keep the family laughing with my ability to stay blissfully unaware of my surroundings. I'm ready to find my forever home where someone will cherish everything I have to offer, that will love me for who I am, and enjoy the little things in life with me! Hopefully, that's you! *Bubbles is being fostered in Cottage Grove, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Illinois applications are considered if the home is owned, no small children reside in the home and if there is an excellent vet check. Sweetie, also known as Sweet Girl, lives in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. Sweetie is as sweet as her name implies. She is about six years old and weighs around 62 pounds. She has sadly gained a lot of extra weight and her foster mom in Wisconsin is helping her slowly shed pounds in a healthy way. Her adopter will need to be committed to doing the same to help her live her best life. In her foster home, she lives with other dogs. She does not have experience living with cats or kids though. Sweetie has not always had the best life, but since being rescued she has gotten the vet care she needed to be a happy, healthy dog. Being a bulldog, priority will be given to adopters with specific bulldog experience. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
