Story
Age: 5 years 6 months Why do you need to rehome Nova? She's very aggressive with my other female dog, I've done training. She's on trazadone and still fights leading to many vet visits costing me thousands. It's not fair for her to remain in a home that she's not happy in. How does your pet get along with dogs/cats? Not females Does your pet have any behavioral notes (digs/climb fences/food guarding/toy guarding, etc)? Toy guarding with other dogs. We call her the fun police when other dogs at home are playing, she gets worked up and barks at them a lot. I think she would thrive in a home with no pets. I love Nova so much she had no training when I adopted her. She's come a long way, but I can no longer care for her. My physical health is declining as well. I can't keep breaking up these fights. She's such a cutie I call her my little moo moo or derp lol. She loves cuddles, kisses, scratches and just being with her human.

Story
Meet Baby Girl – Your New Playful and Loving Companion! Baby Girl is a 2-year-old full-blooded Boxer (DOB: 02/14/2023) who is as sweet as she is playful. She absolutely loves children and gets along great with other dogs, though we’re not sure about cats. Baby Girl is full of energy and joy, so she’s looking for a home with someone who enjoys playtime and can match her fun-loving spirit! She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and is currently in the process of being crate-trained and housebroken. Baby Girl would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention, so she would do best with a stay-at-home family member. A fenced-in yard with plenty of room to roam and play would be the ideal environment for her. Her current owners are an older couple who can no longer care for her due to health and age-related issues. Baby Girl is ready to find her forever home, where she can bring lots of love, playfulness, and happiness. Could that be with you? If you wish to apply to adopt this beautiful Baby Girl please go complete our pre-adoption application https://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Princess Pawsephone aka bat dog aka Lil P. I have had her from birth. When she was a puppy she was so small I carried around in my bath tube pocket. Her ears were in the side of her head and we joked she looked like a little nasty. Very caring and living and well behaved. She to loves cuddles. Due to an unfortunate and very serious ailment I am going to have to have a serious surgery that will make it so I can't take care of my babies for several months. It is not fair to them for me to put them through this, so I have made the very difficult choice to give them a better life than I can give them and re-home them. She is not fixed . She is 7 years old and around 30 lbs. They are in good health, but will need a good bath and a nail trim. They will require some remedial re-education in potty training and leash walking as I have already not been able to take them out for a couple of months They are inside dogs. They are not good with other animals. Never been around small children

Story
This is Frejya aka Daddies little girl. She is 8 and weighs around 60 l lbs. I was a vendor at Lacon and somebody came through with her and I feel in love instantly. I sent my girlfriend out with instructions to bring her back to me. She found them and got her for me. We have been through a lot together. She caught Parvo from the flea market. I was terrified that I would lose her, but miraculously she pulled through. She had been my constant companion for 8 long years always at my side. Since she was a puppy she loves to mouth my arm. She is fixed and up on shots except rabies. Due to an unfortunate and very serious ailment I am going to have to have a serious surgery that will make it so I can't take care of my babies for several months. It is not fair to them for me to put them through this, so I have made the very difficult choice to give them a better life than I can give them and re-home them. Story
This is Hela aka Boo Boo, I have her since birth. Her mother is Frejya. She is very lovable and sweet and a Velcro dog for sure. She loves cuddles. She has PTSD from a particularly nasty fight. She can be a little skiddish at times. She is fixed. She is 7 years old and weighs in around 50 lbs. Due to an unfortunate and very serious ailment I am going to have to have a serious surgery that will make it so I can't take care of my babies for several months. It is not fair to them for me to put them through this, so I have made the very difficult choice to give them a better life than I can give them and re-home them. They are in good health, but will need a good bath and a nail trim. They will require some remedial re-education in potty training and leash walking as I have already not been able to take them out for a couple of months so far. They are inside dogs. They are not socialized with other animals, so I prefer them to be the only pet in the home. never been around small kids
