#A5768469 Lilly -1 year old spayed female -Boxer mix, black & white -Stray intake -47.6 lbs - Spayed, Microchipped & vaccinated Say hello to Lilly, a young Boxer mix girl bursting with puppy energy and personality! At just one year old, she’s playful, social, and always ready to go, go, go.     -Sweet and affectionate -Very energetic and playful -Super social and people-oriented -A great match for an active home -Learning her manners, still very much a puppy!     She has the cutest unique look, one paw is darker while another is bright white, like she’s wearing a little long sock.     Lilly will benefit from continued training and structure. She can be a bit mouthy for attention and her impulse control is still developing, so she would likely do best in a home without small children. She also pulls a bit on leash but is eager to learn.     If you’re looking for a fun, active, loving dog to grow with and train, Lilly is your girl.     LILLY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/6OxYpRoLoqg   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org     ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
This senior boxer lady is so sweet and playful and curious. She may no longer operate the max speed always, but she`s still got plenty of gas in the tank. Slower, steadier, sweeter- sounds like a better deal to me. She walked well on leash and was more than happy to meet a new friend. Mostly unimpressed by the noisy other dogs, she really just wanted to enjoy her time, literally stopping to smell the flowers, playing with toys, tolerating me putting toys on her head(unimpressed by that one) and getting lots of love and scratches. Lots of folks hesitate about adopting older pets- worried about the timeline-which I get. But you have to think of the quality vs the quantity. Older dogs get It- they know how to connect, appreciate and enjoy every moment. They require less training and demand less of your energy to keep them entertained. They`re also a lot less likely to eat your shoes. Mississippi is gorgeous, sweet, confident, smart and basically a great catch. If you`re interested in a friend like that, head into #burbankanimalshelterand meet her for yourself.Mississippi is currently in a foster home. To meet her please contact the foster coordinator at vbasfosterinfo@gmail.com

Story
Buford was found in the streets of LA by a good Samaritan, skin and bones, then luckily found himself in a warm foster home with a pack of three other wonderful large dogs. He has proven to be a real gem, melding in nicely and being a perfect gentleman in his foster home, and is now ready for his forever home. This 90 lb love bug enjoys many things: sun bathing, cuddling and snuggling on bed or couch, playing fetch, watching Netflix with his human buddy, and playing with his stuffed animals. He is a quick learner and so easy to please - sits on command, goes to his pen when asked and at mealtime where he patiently awaits his food, goes potty before bedtime and is a great all night sleeper, knows how to properly position himself in front of the fan for summertime cool-off, and eager to learn more tricks! His best fit home is one with a good sized yard for him to run around in, and people ready to take him out for walks, hikes and adventures (with continued work on his leash training he will be that perfect outdoor companion). Anyone ready to call him part of their family will be very very lucky. If you think you are a good fit, please email therealbark@gmail.com so you can meet him!

Story
COURTESY POST: CONTACT 818-378-8995 to foster OR adopt. Fetti is a handsome 3-year-old, 78 lb. boy with eyes as blue and beautiful as the sky. Sadly, he was abandoned in a boarding facility with many other dogs when a rescue group closed its doors. Fetti may need time to get to know you and build trust but once he does, he’ll be your loyal companion for life. He would do best in a quiet home and would thrive with a patient, dog-savvy guardian who will give him the time he needs to feel safe. House-trained, neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a home to call his own.

Story
Six-year-old Boda is a lovebug just waiting to make a big impression on someone’s heart. This handsome guy greets the world with a gentle confidence, and while he’s definitely strong (one of the strongest pups around!), he’s also surprisingly polite. Boda’s a mellow, simple boy at heart. He’s happy with the little things, especially his ball, a good pool splash, and just hanging out with his people. In the yard, he loves chasing toys and will bring them right back, gently dropping them at your feet like the sweet gentleman he is. He knows his commands like “sit” and “down” and loves to take breaks by flopping down at your feet with his toy to recharge. If you’re looking for a chill, playful best friend, Boda might be your guy! I’m available for a 10 day adoption trial! Learn more about our adoption process.
