Story
Baby Girl is looking for a compassionate person to love her. She is scared when meeting new people, but a handful of treats quickly wins her over (walks and play time will get you bonus points!). She's had playdates with several other dogs at the shelter, and might like a canine companion in her new home if it's the right fit. She loves to play with toys and can entertain herself quite easily, so she's low maintenance, and seems to prefer time outside more than anything. If you're into playing fetch, tug-of-war, and hanging out in the yard, Baby Girl could be a great match! Come meet this fun pup! Baby Girl is 3 years old and 40 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Interested in adopting or fostering? Story
OMG is this one precious girl….Paris is a four month old female Boxer/Shepard mix puppy. At this time she weighs 19 lbs. and we expect she could get to be 51 - 62 lb. when she is fully grown. She is full of energy and curiosity. She loves to play with other dogs. She is good with kids too. Paris likes all kinds of toys and Tug of War is one of her favorite games. She will definitely need a home with a yard to run around in and burn off some of her puppy energy. When she is finished with her puppy shots, walks will also be a must. If hiking is your thing, Paris would be a great companion to go exploring with. If you love the beach, then bring her along for the fun. And when the day is done, Paris is there to snuggle up with her best friend for a movie and a piece of popcorn too! Paris is currently staying in a foster home to help her learn about family life so she will be ready for her forever home. Paris is current on her vaccinations is micro-chipped and is scheduled to spayed. If you're looking to add lots of love and enjoyment to your life, Paris just might be exactly what you are looking for! Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
