Betty gets along well with other dogs and has never shown aggression — she simply wants love, reassurance, and someone to play with. Betty is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever family. Sweet Goose is ready to fly into your heart! This adorable medium-sized pup, born on April 5, 2025, is as wonderful as she is resilient. Her microchip tells us a story - she was adopted as just a small puppy by at Stockton Animal Shelter. We don't know why she was found wandering all by herself at just 6 months old - mere months after being promised a forever home - but she's here safe with us until she finds her new family. Her love of people never wavered, but we hope she never has to experience a broken promise ever again. She currently weighs 40 lbs and is still filling out. Her breed mix is unknown, but her appearance has a Basenji-Boxer look. She is a unique beauty. She has the silliest little bouncy walk and is curious about everyone she meets. She plays very well with the dogs here at the shelter. She is already microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. Cami has lived with other dogs, but we've found she would do best as an only dog or a with neutral or submissive male dogs. She is very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. Rubble is a 2-year-old, approximately 80 lb American Bulldog/Bully mix looking for his forever home. This handsome boy was rescued after being scheduled for euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding—not because of anything he did wrong. He simply ran out of time. After spending time with him, I can honestly say he is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. He absolutely loves people and just wants to be close to you. He's affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he's getting pets or lounging by your side. He has a calm, easygoing personality and would make an incredible companion. With a heavy heart, I am looking to rehome my dog. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people. Despite her size, she is convinced she’s a lap dog and would happily spend her days curled up on the couch snuggling with you. She’s a total couch potato who enjoys relaxing, cuddling, and being close to her family.She has done well with small dogs and enjoys having human companionship. She is house trained and knows basic commands.Important: She should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals due to her prey drive. I want to make sure she is set up for success in the right environment.She does have to take medicine for a hormone imbalance which cost $12/month. This is not a decision I have made lightly. She is loved very much, and I am committed to finding the best possible home for her. She is crate trained and her crate will go with her if requested

We found her walking around across from our house late at night. She’s 4 months old, not chipped, potty trained, crate training her, super sweet, friendly, and playful. She did get rehomed once but their dog was being territorial and attacked her. She would do well with someone who has time for her, big yard, and maybe only pet/experience with big dogs.
