Story
Hello, I'm KORA, and if you're on the lookout for a lovable, active, and super-smart gal who can be your workout partner and couch warmer all in one, then your search ends here! I had a ruff start – rescued from a kill shelter, emaciated and pregnant. But, that's all in the past now, and all I want is a bright future filled with love. As a young adult pup, I'm seeking a family to call my own. I've discovered the joy of running around and playing in my foster home, and I know that's what I want in my forever home. I dream of a life without pain and sadness, and I believe the perfect family is out there for me. Some of my absolute favorite things include tennis balls, rubber balls – basically any ball! I'm super eager to learn and get along well with other dogs. My foster brother Rumpus is bigger than me, but he's gentle and has welcomed me into his family while I search for my own forever family. I'm all about love, and cuddling up with Rumpus or my foster family is the best feeling ever – it makes me feel so special. I would really like another dog to live with, I love my foster brother! Just one small thing – I have a high prey drive, so please, no kitties. They're just too tempting to chase. If you think you could be my forever person or family, head over to www.aarflove.org and complete an application. I'm hoping you are, and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Hank

Pitsky Boxer

Male, Adult
San Jose, CA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hank was adopted from the humane society of silicon valley as a 10-week puppy and is now 6 years old. Hank is goofy and playful and enjoys learning new tricks. He enjoys howling along with sirens as they pass by. However, he is reactive around other dogs (he was attacked by off leash dogs on two occasions) and has become increasingly guarding of his food against our cats (no issues with humans) and it's no longer safe to have him in our house. Ideally he would be an "only dog" in a cat- and child-free home.

Story
Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. Cami has lived with other dogs, but we've found she would do best as an only dog or a with neutral or submissive male dogs. She is very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. She is fostering in the San Francisco area and we will post more as we learn it.July 18, 2026, 6:52 pm
