Story
Meet Betty 🩷 Betty is a young boxer/pit mix with the sweetest soul and so much love to give. Betty’s story started out heartbreaking — she was found abandoned in a remote dumping area near Stockton, scared and unsure of people after clearly going through more than any dog ever should. Since being rescued, Betty has come so far. Once she feels safe, her goofy, loving personality starts to shine. She is energetic, playful, and loves treats, but also knows how to settle down for a good nap. Betty gets along well with other dogs and has never shown aggression — she simply wants love, reassurance, and someone to play with. Betty is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever family. She would do best with someone patient who will continue helping her build confidence and show her what a safe, loving home feels like. After everything she’s been through, Betty deserves a family who will never let her down again. Could that be you?

Story
Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. Cami has lived with other dogs, but we've found she would do best as an only dog or a with neutral or submissive male dogs. She is very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. She is fostering in the San Francisco area and we will post more as we learn it.August 10, 2026, 10:15 pm

Story
Hello, I'm KORA, and if you're on the lookout for a lovable, active, and super-smart gal who can be your workout partner and couch warmer all in one, then your search ends here! I had a ruff start – rescued from a kill shelter, emaciated and pregnant. But, that's all in the past now, and all I want is a bright future filled with love. As a young adult pup, I'm seeking a family to call my own. I've discovered the joy of running around and playing in my foster home, and I know that's what I want in my forever home. I dream of a life without pain and sadness, and I believe the perfect family is out there for me. Some of my absolute favorite things include tennis balls, rubber balls – basically any ball! I'm super eager to learn and get along well with other dogs. My foster brother Rumpus is bigger than me, but he's gentle and has welcomed me into his family while I search for my own forever family. I'm all about love, and cuddling up with Rumpus or my foster family is the best feeling ever – it makes me feel so special. I would really like another dog to live with, I love my foster brother! Just one small thing – I have a high prey drive, so please, no kitties. They're just too tempting to chase. If you think you could be my forever person or family, head over to www.aarflove.org and complete an application. I'm hoping you are, and I promise you won't be disappointed!
