Story
Gibson was a puppy from a family members litter of AKC puppies. We took him in due to him being born with a heart murmur. He just turned 4 on June 2 and has had no signs or issues with heart murmur, but it’s still present per vet checkups. He is well behaved and listens well to commands. He is very gentle when accepting food and treats. We would love for him to have a fenced yard, we tie out only for potty time, as he is an inside only pup. He will stand in the doorway and wait to be hooked up before attempting to go outside. He has not been neutered due to heart murmur and vet says he is fine that way since he shows no aggression or bad behaviors from being intact. He is also crate trained when we aren’t home and overnight. He will put himself to bed in the kennel every evening. He’s the very best boy.

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! 💕 Hi, I’m Lonnie 🐾💕 I’m a 5-month-old Boxer puppy with a big personality, tons of energy, and a whole lot of love to give! I’m playful, smart, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure. I love being near my people, so if you walk out of the room, don’t be surprised if I happily follow right behind you! 🥰 I’m house trained and crate trained, and I already know some commands. I’m doing great in my crate and can settle down nicely at bedtime. I’ll happily go to sleep when you do and can sleep through the night for up to 8 hours. I’m still working on potty training, but I understand that potty happens outside—I’m just learning how to let my humans know when I need to go. I’m a VERY energetic puppy and definitely need a family who can keep up with me! I get the zoomies and love to run and play, so a securely fenced backyard would be wonderful for me. I also enjoy playing with other dogs and would love a playful doggy sibling who can help me burn off some of that puppy energy. 🐾 Like many puppies, I’m still learning how to play politely. When I get really excited, I can be a little mouthy during play, but I’m improving and learning that gentle play is much more fun. I’ll need a family who is patient, consistent, and willing to keep working with me every day. I do well with big dogs and older cats, and because of my energy and enthusiastic play style, I’d do best with older children who can handle my puppy antics. My foster says I’m a sweet girl who just wants to love. I may not always show my cuddly side right away, but when I’m calm and sleepy, all I want is to snuggle up next to you. ❤️ Adoption FEE: $650 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. Story
Contact: Alisa8/21/2026 - Pablo is a sweet, gentle, affectionate boy whose perfect day is pretty simple: relaxing inside, curling up on the couch, and staying close to his people. He absolutely loves attention and will happily snuggle up beside you for as long as you let him. One of the cutest things about him is how much he smiles when he is getting pets, and when he gets really excited, he curls his whole body into what we have started calling his little “cheese curl.” Pablo is deaf, so he relies heavily on visual cues and being able to see where his people are. He loves sleeping in bed, lounging on the couch, following his people around the house, and generally being wherever you are. He is much more comfortable at home than out in the world right now. He is not currently a farmers market, brewery, or long-walk kind of dog. In unfamiliar outdoor environments, he can be hesitant and may stop, look around, or decide he would rather head back home. He needs someone patient who will let him build confidence at his own pace. He has done well using a fenced backyard for potty breaks and is happiest when his person comes outside with him. A quieter home with a fenced yard would probably suit him better than a busy downtown environment. When Pablo gets nervous, his response is to freeze, hesitate, or retreat rather than act aggressively. He has been incredibly gentle with people and really seems to come alive once he feels safe and knows he can settle in for some attention. As far as we can tell, he has not had much formal training and does not yet seem to know basic cues such as sit, stay, come, or look at me. Because he is deaf, he will need someone willing to patiently teach him a consistent set of hand signals. He would also benefit from continued work on confidence, being comfortable alone, and crate training. He is not especially food- or toy-motivated, although frozen dog ice cream and meatballs have definitely won him over. More than anything, his favorite reward seems to be being close to his people and getting affection. Because Pablo previously had a negative experience with other dogs, we believe a single-dog home would likely be the best fit for him. His history with cats is unknown. Pablo really is a loving homebody. He does not need an adventurous lifestyle. He needs a quiet, patient home, a comfortable couch, a safe yard, and someone who wants a very affectionate companion. If your perfect dog is a smiling little shadow who would rather spend Saturday morning curled up next to you than at the farmers market, Pablo may be your guy. ❤️ 7/30/2026 - Pablo is under our mandatory evaluation period, and is not available for adoption at this time. The foster home will have the opportunity to adopt once the evaluation period is complete.  If you would like to be a back-up applicant for Pablo, please complete an application at:   http://flbr.org/application-form/.  Please also take a look at his available boxer friends as we get to know him better. September 5, 2026, 2:52 pm

Story
?? MAGLI — THE QUEEN HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING. ??Magli’s life started with humans who saw a gorgeous Frenchie and thought her only purpose was to be a pretty little baby-making machine. Then came the botched C-section, deplorable conditions, and a life that was anything but the life she deserved. But then she was found. And THAT was the day Magli’s real life finally began. ??She’s since discovered the absolute magic of living in a home — having fur siblings who are there just for fun, snuggle-and-TV time, pup cups, drive-thru adventures, walks on the beach, and the very important art of being doted on like the queen she is.And let us tell you… Mags has slid into the royal lifestyle like she was born for it. ??She’ll help you in the garden. She’ll watch TV with you. She’ll happily tag along for an adventure. And if you’re there? She’s there. That’s pretty much her motto. She’s even discovered her silly side — complete with zoomies, the funniest toy-playing technique we’ve ever seen, and enough Frenchie snorts to become the soundtrack of your household. ????Magli isn’t looking for someone to save her anymore. She’s looking for someone who understands that this little bowling-ball queen has a whole lot of living left to do — and would like nothing more than to spend it being loved exactly the way she always should have been.?? Does Mags sound like the little bowling-ball queen you’ve been missing? Then what are you waiting for? Apply today!?? www.rugazrescue.org

Story
Meet Tots ????Tots may look like a plain Jane at first glance, but spend about 30 seconds with this adorable 4-month-old puppy and you`ll quickly discover that her personality is anything but plain! This little girl is a bouncy, bubbly bundle of fun, and her favorite playmates just happen to walk on two legs. Her foster kiddos bring out an extra spring in her step, and Tots absolutely LOVES joining in on tea parties, getting dressed up, and whatever other shenanigans the tiny humans have planned. ??Don`t get her wrong—Tots loves her doggy foster siblings too! But if you offer her a spot at your next tea party or a partner for a rousing game of Twister, she`s already RSVP`d. ??And when playtime is over? Prepare to melt.Tots has the most ridiculously soft, velvety fur. Petting her is basically a built-in relaxation technique. Curl up on the couch, put on a movie, and you`ll find yourself mindlessly stroking her silky coat until you`re drifting off like you`re sleeping on a cloud.Well… a cloud that wiggles, bounces, and wags its tail every time it`s happy. ????If your household is looking to invite one more permanent member to the tea party, cuddle puddle, or Twister tournament, Tots is ready to bring the personality, puppy antics, and velvety snuggles!Apply to adopt Tots today!?? www.RugazRescue.org#RugazRescue #AdoptTots #AdoptDontShop #RescuePuppy #PuppyLove #RescueDog #ForeverHome

Story
I adopted Captain 5 years ago from a family in my neighborhood and he's been a great dog to have! He's very smart and full of energy; he loves to run, go for walks and play with his toys. He's also a great snuggler and loves his cat brother and sister. He could use some more leash training but listens well to commands. Captain is very protective of his home and will be sure to let know when someone has arrived (his bark is bigger than his bite)! The reason we need to re-home him is we've learned he does not like children after the birth of our first child over a year ago. Her safety is our top priority and we no longer feel we can safely keep them together. Some nonnegotiables for him are a yard and/or someone who lives an active lifestyle and loves being outdoors. Captain also needs someone with a lot of love and attention to give!
