The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer and/or mastiff mix, estimated at around 4 years old and weigh approximately 90lbs. I am very sweet and well-behaved- I think that is how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I would be best suited for homes without smaller or high-energy dogs. I have such a gentle and easy-going personality that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. Could it be you?My $250 adoption fee is now zero thanks to a generous donor and includes all of the medical care I received, vet exams, spay and heartworm test (negative), up-to-date vaccines, deworming, and microchip - all already done. Had Simba sense he was 6 weeks old he’s gonna be 8 years old November 11th great dog all around just very protective of u once he knows u he loves to play he loves to take your socks and have u chase him!! Would like some who is trained with pit bulls a loving person who has patience because he only reacts when seeing unfamiliar faces he needs patience and love I hope whoever would like Simba would be as loving as I am. He definitely needs some training and socialization because he does not do well with strangers at first he has to get comfortable around you. He has some reactivity issues. I would love for him to go a loving home who will try to help him progress.
