Story
This is Tiga. We’ve had her since October 11, 2022, around the time of Hurricane Ian, when we rescued her. We paid $200 for her, and we believe she was around one year old when we got her, so she should now be about 4/5 years old. She’s a Boxer mix, though we’re not exactly sure what she’s mixed with. Tiga is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She loves playing with people, is very affectionate, and has such a kind personality. She gets along well with other animals and is used to being around dogs, chickens, and turtles. She does like to chase cats, but she has never harmed one. I have a cat myself, and although she chases it sometimes, she’s never aggressive or hurtful in any way. She is vaccinated, fixed/spayed, collar and chain trained, and has never harmed anyone or anything. The reason I’m making this post is because I can no longer afford to properly care for her. I’m currently working a job that doesn’t pay enough and I’m going to enlist.

Four-year-old Brandy is a beautiful girl looking for a calm home. Brandy was extremely leery of meeting new people when she first arrived at Satchel’s but the commitment and love of her Woof Pack leader has given her so much more confidence. Brandy and her WP leader have been going to our off-site events and meeting new people is now much easier for Brandy. She is always excited for the next adventure, and rides well in the car. Brandy can be a little aloof at first, but once she’s comfortable with you, her personality comes out and she shows off her playful side. Playing fetch with her friends in our shelter yard is a big plus for this little girl. She has recently started Fitpaw training now offered at Satchel's and is showing off her intelligence. Heading home for an afternoon visit with her WP leader, Pam, makes for one happy, playful pup. Brandy doesn’t seem to care for other dogs and would likely prefer to be your only canine companion. This pint-size gal (approximately 45 lbs.) is ready for adventure! She walks great on a leash, knows all the basic commands and is just pure FUN! She might take a bit to warm up, but give this girl time and you will be the lucky recipient of her love!!! We have 4 puppies, as of 8/19, who need a home. 1F 3M. We took in 10 puppies originally from a family members accidental litter. This the second time this has happened unfortunately and we kept one pup from the first litter. Pups DOB 6/8/26 Expected size: 70lbs Expected to be very food driven, loyal, energetic and sleepyhead. Based on our 3 year old, older sibling. We hope they go home to a very active family, plenty of walks and sniffaries. We are not breeders and will ensure this doesn’t happen again.
