Georgia is such a good girl - she has an anonymous donor that loves her and is sponsoring her fee to help her find her forever home! Georgia is as sweet as she can be despite her ruff past. Georgia was found abandoned in a crate with her puppies before she was rescued and came to our rescue. All of her puppies found their homes, but Georgia has patiently been waiting quite some time for her forever family to come. She loves her humans and is more than happy to give and receive big hugs and kisses. She's also partial to massages, ear scratches, and treats! This funny, charming girl is going to make a wonderful companion when her forever person/family comes along! Georgia is about 3.5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Her fully sponsored adoption fee includes a vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, heartworm test (negative), deworming and microchip. Story
Hi, I'm Theodore! I was found with my twin brother Benjamin hanging around a car dealer lot in the Miami area. We were dumped by our 'owner' and were there for weeks. Good Samaritans were feeding us until the dealer kicked us out and that's when our luck changed and we landed at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. We don't understand why we were left behind by our family as we are friendly guys with lots of personality. I am good with most dogs and humans, but would need to be supervised around little kids because I have a lot of energy and don't want to accidentally knock them over or play too rough. I'm between 2 and 3 years old and weigh just under 60 lbs. My $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $100 thanks to the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant and includes vetting, up to date shots, neuter, deworming, heartworm test (negative) and microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under 'Adopt'.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
This is our sweet girl Honey! She’s a two year old pitty mix. She’s currently not spayed and in need of a vet visit for her shots as well. For this reason, she has a low adoption fee. But, she’s perfectly healthy and gorgeous. Honey is a very smart girl who is an amazing listener and fast learner. She’s easily trainable and comes when she’s called. She’s potty trained and amazing with all people, kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s really the perfect dog and would make a wonderful best friend to her new owner. She has a lot of energy though so would need someone willing to spend extra time with her, walking her and playing with her. We unfortunately cannot keep her due to new unforgiving schedule issues. It’s heartbreaking, but she deserves so much better. PLEASE be 100% certain she would fit perfectly into your life and would be your forever pup. I absolutely don’t want her mistreated or bouncing from home to home. Thank you so much for looking and considering our girl!

Story
Meatball is a fun young pitty boy who loves the attention and of course loves to play. He is a wiggly boy!! He is only 2 1/2 years old 49LBS and get along with everyone including other dogs. Just happy, happy!! He has been living with many other dogs and has been doing great. This is a note from his foster Mom: He came to us from a multi dog house and fit in immediately. Dominant dogs are not an issue with him, he ignores them but quickly conforms to the scenario. Chasing lizards is his favorite thing to do. So a fenced in yard would be great. Walking on a leash is not a problem; however, he does like to pull occasionally, so a strong parent is best. Occasionally he gets excited and likes to jump on his human friends. We are working on that and making great progress. Treats and food definitely motivate him to behave. He is definitely curious of cats and wants to sniff them. As long as they don't run, he won't chase. So we've introduced him to cats while he is in the crate and he is starting to ignore them. He is the biggest lover and just wants belly rubs from his humans. His bark is basically a grumble and non existent. This "Meatball" will make the best and most loyal companion. if you are interested in a really nice doggy, he is your guy. Please fill out the application online at pets@findahomegiveahome.com under the forms tab. He is up to date and neutered. Crate trained!!! His adoption fee is $100

Story
Noir was a stray and unfortunately end it up in a shelter where he was able to pass all the test for him to get adopted however after a couple of months being in a cage he was loosing his mind. It is called Kennel Rage and many dogs get depressed and very reactive after being locked up. I had met him a couple of months and he was gentle and played well with other dogs. He was actually submissive and took correction from other dogs very well. Our volunteer Jill took Noir out of the shelter with her pack to see how he would be doing in a home. He is wonderful. He is great with other dogs even little ones. He is a big cuddle bug and no issues. He plays great with other dogs. It is temporary and we know that if he goes back to the shelter he will be put down due to stress again. We are looking for a home for him. You will love him!!! He was tested with cats and was scared of them. Helping would be very special- Being in a home with a friend would all make us very happy- if you can help please email us ASAP at pets@findahomegiveahome.com. He is 54LBS- shelter thinks he is 2 but we do believe he is younger.

Story
It's 5/22 and Simba is now stuck in boarding and completely forgotten #SIMBA is in need of shares and help. As much as his foster would love to adopt him, it's a little challenging for him having never owned a dog before. Simba needs an alpha human with experience. He's a good boy but needs to know he is not the boss. He completed 8 weeks of training and knows basic commands. He walks well on a leash and is dog friendly but will require meet and greets. He's 3 years old, 71 lbs, neutered and UTD with vaccines. Please contact Fairytail Endings Rescue or myself if interested in fostering and/or adopting this sweet boy.

Story
Hey there, my name is Benson, but you can call me Benny. I am a 75 pound boxer mix breed trying to find my forever home. I'm an absolute sweetheart, I love people and enjoy a nice leisurely walk. I love just rolling around in the grass and getting belly rubs. Kids are my favorite, I get so excited when they are around and just love playing with them. If you have another dog at home, we would require a meet and greet to ensure that we get along properly. I'm not good with anything smaller than I am, I prefer to play with someone my own size and think anyone smaller is a toy. The perfect family dog, ready to be loved and cuddled for the rest of my days. I will be waiting here for you at GCHS!

Story
Ernie is a VERY well behaved and well trained boy who unfortunately needs to find a new forever home. He came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue after Hurricane Ian in pretty bad shape, and was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately he can no longer stay there and they are heartbroken but there's not another option. Ernie is currently staying with them while we try to find a new home for him. Here is what they say about Ernie: "Ernie is the ultimate cuddle companion with a heart of gold and a wagging tail that never quits. He is a love bug through and through. Despite his ruff past and although he may not have hit it off with our other male dog, Ernie's affection for humans, big and small, knows no bounds. Ernie is a pro at basic commands and is house trained to perfection. He is up to date on all of his vaccines, neutered and is up to date with preventatives." Ernie is probably a Boxer/American Bulldog mix and gets along well with the female dog in the home. He's also very good with children. Ernie would do best with a fenced year where he can run, play and stretch his legs! We guess Ernie is about 2 and a half years old and is 55 lbs of snuggle bug!Ernie's $250 fee is being reduced to $100 thanks to the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant and includes up to date shots and preventatives, neuter and all of the care that he received to prepare him to be your obedient best friend! Please go to www.gofar.dog under "Adopt" to complete an application. You won't be sorry! If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
