Story
This Boxer mix boy is our Rascal. He is as close to the perfect dog you could ever meet. He has come so far from the boy that was almost euthanized by animal control because he was terrified of men. Thanks to his out and about volunteer, he is asking all sizes of men for love and affection. He is calm, loves to ride, and that sweet underbite wins everyone heart over. He needs a loving home that does not have small yappy dogs. Rascal will be here a year in August. We hope he does not have to start a second year here.

Story
BEAUX Is an amazing dog all he wants is love and attention. He is Potty trained, but if left alone, sometimes he may chew pillows or socks. He is two years old and would be a perfect companion and all he needs is love he so deserves. I am a single mom, active military, and I’m getting ready to relocate. I need to find him a loving family that would take care of him as he would do the same for you.

Story
Bear is about 3 years old. He was adopted as a puppy at 12 weeks old from another rescue. He grew up in same home as an inside dog. Then a family member moved in with the family who was afraid of dogs. So bear was owner Surrendered to a kill shelter . Days away from euthanasia we took him in and he was safe. As we always do scared him for a chip and found he had one😔 I contacted the previous owner and wanted to know if he knew Bear was in the shelter. Sad part was he put him there 😩. This boy is the sweetest precious baby ever. He is house trained doggie door trained and even recliner trained. Bear deserves a human and home that won’t fail him again. Story
Name: LolliBreed: Boxer/Pit mixSex/Age/Weight: Female, approximately 4 years old, approx. 59 lbsVetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, and microchippedHouse trained/Crate Trained: Yes/YesBefore FAR: I was rescued from the Baldwin County Animal Shelter when I was pregnant with 12 puppies. All my puppies have found their furever homes, and now it’s my turn!Energy Level: I am a low to medium energy dog. I do get excited when I play with my foster fur siblings, especially outside, but I know when it is time to calm down. When I'm not playing, I do very well with relaxing with my humans or chewing on a bone. Things that make me happy: I love getting pets and belly rubs! I LOVE being with my people and tend to stick close to them whenever I can. I also love playing with my fur siblings or playing fetch in the yard with a ball or a stick. I LOVE water and will try to drink from the hose when you water your plants!Things that make my humans happy: I am very sweet and loving. I love to snuggle up on the couch with you. I am so incredibly soft and fun to pet, and I love being pet too. I am playful and always ready for an adventure!Training status: I am VERY well trained, both off and on leash. I know sit, down, here (recall command), drop (for fetch), and place; I will also hold these commands reliably during duration work. I am very food motivated which makes me eager and easy to train! Dogs: I love the other dogs in my foster home and I am friendly with all dogs I meet! I have great social skills with other dogs, but a meet and greet with future siblings would be best to make sure they can handle my energy.Cats: When I was cat tested I tried to play too rough with them, so I would do best in a home without cats.Kids: I have never been around children, but I think I would love them!Ideal Family/Home: I would be a wonderful addition to just about any home! I do well with all humans and dogs I have met. Story
Hi everyone! My name is Merry, and I just wanted to make sure that y’all know that I am looking for my furever home. I was born on January 9th, 2024. Yep, that’s right. Can you believe that no one has snatched me up yet? All of us pups in my family have been in our awesome foster home since we were born. So we’ve waited for weeks to get big enough and ready to get adopted. And now my sisters and I are waiting for our furever homes. Just so you know, I am a GREAT pup. I am happy all the time, and my foster mom says I am very “social”. I guess she says that because I love everyone. I love my foster family and I really love playing with the other puppies and all the big dogs. I love being held and cuddled. But what I really really want most is to move on to what my foster mom says will be my “furever home”. I want a place where I can stay forever with people who want ME! So are you looking for a great pup? If so, I am your girl! I am living with my foster family in Macon (GA), but I am ready to pack my bags and move to my furever home.Merry’s mom is a 55-60 pound sweetheart (possibly Black Mouth Cur and Boxer), and dad is unknown. But whatever breed mix Merry is, she’s a cutie! Merry and her littermates are happy, social pups. Merry is current on her vetting – she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines worming and preventatives. Merry is also crate trained and doing good on becoming house trained. She deserves someone who can lavish time and energy on her, and who will make sure that they can give her plenty of exercise and play time, and training. Her new family should also have time to focus on socialization and training to make sure that Merry is the best family member she can be. If you currently have family pets, please note that our rescue requires that our adopters’ current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and spayed or neutered. If you have been searching for a puppy and have time to spend training a young pup, go to the link below fill out an application. This little girl is a sweetheart who would be a good fit for a family with or without other dogs and with or without children. When you submit your application, it is best to do so via a computer. We have experienced some problems when applications have been submitted using a mobile device. When you submit the application, you are not obligated to adopt; however, it does put you in the queue for the puppy that you are interested in. And it helps us make sure that you and the puppy would be a good fit together. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be glad to help!http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html
