Lelani is a beautiful 4 year old pitbull, she just turned 4 on September 13th. She is very sweet, loving and playful but she can be easily triggered because she was neglected by her previous owner. My ex and I decided to take her in when a friend was looking to rehome her after his roommate moved out and abandoned her. She used to pee when you called her name and when approached too quickly. I've tried to work with her but have no experience training dogs and can't afford to hire a trainer so I'm looking to rehome her so that she can get the help she needs. I have another dog and they used to get along great but she has now attacked him a couple of times completely unprovoked and I'm afraid I can no longer safely keep her. Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you.
