According to his previous owner, he was generally able to coexist with the other two dogs in the home, but could become possessive over toys, so he’ll do best with an experienced adopter who can manage and continue working on this behavior.Scarborough is house trained and does fairly well in a crate, making him a great candidate for a structured home. He has a medium to high energy level, so he’ll enjoy regular exercise, playtime, and enrichment to keep him happy and balanced.He does well with older children and would likely thrive in a home where everyone understands his needs and respects his boundaries. He is protective of the ones he loves so hiking would be good for Blu but, street walking not so much. We require that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments. We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Honey is a 14 year old honey colored pitt bull. She has lived a great life but due to circumstances with our finances we have had to move into a smaller apartment. She doesn't have the space she needs to live out the rest of her older years like I would like her to and she is a special kind of dog. She has done really well around our Newfoundland and cats but she is territorial over our family. If other dogs approach her she has a tendency to become aggressive. I am looking for someone who is good with this breed of dog and can love her as much as we have.
