Stella will need work on leash training (she likes to yell hello at everyone along the way) and has been responding well to treats over barking. She currently resides in the Shelter Manager's office where she greets her every morning with the biggest stretch, tail wag and kiss.

I am SHADOW! Boxer mix just over a year old. I'm just over 2 years old. Athletic build coming in around 45-55lbs. I'm sleek, shiny and full of life! I am up for any adventures, have the stamina to climb any mountain and would be happy to join your marathon training or perhaps your fitness walks. Fetch is fun and oh boy, you should see me fly! I went to school with Mavis K9 Academy so I have a good training foundation. I have a best friend at the ranch named Thomas. I would love a canine friend but need one that loves to run and play. I got Chopper from the local police station. They rescued him from horrible conditions and were going to take him to the shelter. I couldn’t bare the thought of that so I took him home. He is very friendly and playful and exceptionally intelligent. I have to get rid of him because my fiancé is allergic and she doesn’t think it’s right to make him an outside dog so this is my only option. He deserves a good home that’ll give him attention that I simply just can’t right now.
