Monty 18 months old, good boy, takes a bit to warm up. Monty was adopted as a puppy during the shut down from COVID. When things opened up, his adopter surrendered him to animal control - due to no time. Since Monty's formative months he was in quarantine with his adopter and was not socialized well. He just needs a home to help him be the best he can be. Once he knows you he is a great boy with lots of energy to run and play :) We require that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments. We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. We picked our Bama up in Alabama in October 2019 while traveling home from Destin. We stopped to get gas in Empire, Alabama and he was at the gas station, abandoned and alone. We fell in love with him instantly, and decided we would take him with us on the rest of our six hour journey home. Bama is a wonderful boy, so very sweet. I have recently gone through a divorce. Through this transition, I am not able to care for him properly, nor afford the expenses. As much as I do not want to, I need to rehome our sweet boy. His shots are not up to date. He is potty trained. Very well behaved, and just an overall wonderful dog. I am not looking for money, I just want him to be loved and cared for. Please.
