When we pulled her from a shelter in Kentucky, she was in heartbreaking shape covered in a severe yeast infection, with almost no hair left on her body and open, bloody sores around her neck. Scared and neglected, Trish was an owner surrender who had clearly suffered from a lack of care and compassion. But despite it all, Trish never gave up. With time, patience, and lots of TLC, Trish has blossomed. Her gorgeous red coat is growing back in, and her gentle, affectionate nature has started to shine. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, doesnt mind cats, and is crate trained. She takes treats gently and loves to be loved on soaking up every bit of kindness and attention as if shes making up for lost time. Are your dogs potty trained?Unless the dog's bio specifically states that they are potty trained, you can assume they are not. Many of our rescue dogs come from challenging circumstances and may not have been exposed to housetraining. Housetraining is typically the responsibility of the adopter.2. Do you transport to other locations?Currently, we transport to Wilmington, Ohio, Greenwood, Indiana, Washington, PA, and Lake City, FL.3. Is this cat/dog still available?If the cat or dog is listed on Adopt-A-Pet and does not have an "adoption pending" tag on the website, we are still accepting applications. However, please be aware that we often receive multiple applications for each animal.4. Bubba is a happy boy who loves everyone and everything! He's never met a stranger and is ready to be your new best friend! Bubba's favorite activities are playing with his toys and cuddling. He is about 2 years old and 40lbs. Bubba is looking for a family that has lots of love and lots of time to play. He loves meeting new people and animals. He does great with other dogs and kids. Bubba loves cats, but they tend to not love him quite as much. Any cats in the home should be able to handle a high-energy dog. Bubba's ideal home has a fenced-in yard or lots of space to run and play. He is crate- and potty-trained. Bubba is fully vetted: neutered, UTD on vaccines, negative for HW, and microchipped. Does require Apoquel prescription for allergies. Biggie is a 9year old boxer Rottweiler mix. 90 lbs. we’ve had him since he was a puppy. He is great with children and other animals. He has been the best dog. He is house trained and follows commands he will not roll over though. He doesn’t like car rides gets anxiety and wines during car rides. He loves a good game of fetch and just being with family. I wish we could keep him but under our circumstances we are moving to housing that doesn’t allow animals.

Very playful, loves her toys, playing tug of war, fetch, and knows a small amount of commands such as "sit", "down", "up", "shake", "speak", and playing dead when you say "Bang" with a finger gun motion. Treat motivated, I keep some generic by the lb. treats from Rural King, collagen rolls/sticks, and peanut butter on hand for when she's being a good girl. She also loves pup cups from any restaurant and I will admit I do give her the occasional cheese burger when I haven't been able to give her as much attention as I'd prefer. You just have to ask her if she's "Ready to do some tricks?" and she'll hop to it. Was raised in a 2-dog/2-cat household with her sister up until 3 months ago when my living situation changed, and has been alongside 2 older cats until now. She has only had one occurrence of showing any kind of food aggression - barking at my mother's cat a week or so after we moved in. She has never bit or otherwise harmed anyone.
