Story
Harry is a very good boy! He is well behaved, friendly and easy going. He loves people of all sizes and every dog he meets. He would love a dog friend with a similar easy-going personality. He loves to explore the yard and lounge with his people, but his favorite hobby is napping! He loves to curl up in a sunny spot indoors or out. He still has energy for short walks or a few throws of the ball but he's definitely a lower energy gentleman.
Harry is housebroken, walks great on a leash and knows a lot of basic commands. He really loves to be with his person, and is not fond of being alone but does great as long as he can with another four-legged friend when his humans are out. He would also happily join you for outings - he's great in the car and does well in public too.
Harry recently had some benign lumps removed and he had a full senior blood panel done. He has received the all-clear from our vet to go to his furever home, healthy and happy!

All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.
If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
