We found Archie as a stray in Sept 2025, no one answered our ad, he is now 18 mos-2 years old. He had no problem blending in to our multiple dog household and seemed to have been a house dog, enjoying rough and tumble play with our smaller dog. Archie is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, chipped, recently neutered,, rides well in the car, uses a doggie door,is not cat friendly! He now weighs 52 pounds and very strong! Archie is surely mixed breed, but looks like, and shares many characteristics of a Carolina Dog, including a lot of vocalizing!My husband and I are elderly and since Archie joined our family, we’ve had multiple medical issues and realize Archie is too much dog for us long-term, and he would be better off in a setting where he can get training and plenty of exercise, which we are not going to be able to do. He’s very smart, eager to learn, very trainable and wants to be a big lap baby!We want him to go to a good home and enjoy a long happy life!

UPDATE!✨ Meet Buddy. Sadly, he was surrendered when his family could no longer care for him. He is super friendly, loves people and other dogs. He is 25 lbs. He is silent in his crate and doing great with house and crate training. Did fine with a cat in the house. Very treat motivated.  His owners did a DNA test and he’s terrier and boxer mix. He’s around 6 months old now. He is  utd, neutered and ready for the perfect forever home.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!
