Story
MAGNOLIA “NOLIE” Pocket Bully • Mama Warrior • Family-Safe Sweetheart Some dogs walk into rescue quietly. Magnolia — lovingly called Nolie — walked in carrying an entire legacy of strength. This beautiful pocket bully mama was pulled from a kill shelter with her adorable blue babies when their time ran out. The shelter staff begged for her to be saved — not because she was just another dog, but because she was special. They adored her. And now we understand why. A Mama With a Heart of Gold Nolie is gentle, steady, and soft in all the ways that matter. She protected her babies in the hardest place a mother can be — a shelter where hope runs thin. The moment she landed with us, her shoulders relaxed. She knew she was finally safe. Dog-Friendly Nolie loves other dogs and gets along beautifully with calm, friendly pups. She matches energy, respects boundaries, and is happy to share space. Cat-Friendly… Nope Let’s be honest: She doesn't cats. She is not signing up to join a cat book club. Perfectly manageable, just keep the cat away (maybe at the neighbors house). Personality Sweet, soulful, and gentle Loves affection and leans in for pets Calm, easygoing, and very well-mannered Loyal and deeply connected to “her people” Ideal Home Nolie would thrive in a home that wants a smaller bully with: A heart as big as her blocky little head Wonderful manners A peaceful, loving presence The desire to be someone's companion, shadow, and daily comfort Magnolia “Nolie” isn’t just adoptable — she’s unforgettable. She survived. She loved her babies fiercely. And now she deserves the softest, safest life possible. If you want a dog who will be loyal, gentle, and devoted, Nolie is your girl. Story
Little miss Leoni Roe is a perfectly pretty girl with an affinity for ball and a deep love for all of humankind. If she could have it her way, she would be in bed with her people and her favorite toy. Leoni is so amazing at entertaining herself, that we could see her being a great companion for someone that works from home. The cutest thing about Leoni is how much she loves ball! This sweet girl will chase a tennis ball all day if you let her. Extra bonus points if the ball squeaks! If you are looking for a furry friend to play fetch with, Leoni is ready to meet you! Leoni had so much fun on her first ever doggy day out! She went to the park where she got to have a yummy Starbucks pup cup. Her new bestie, who happens to be only 1 years old, decided to share her cake pop with Leoni too! She was so spoiled! When her new tiny human bestie was eating and playing, she didn’t try to take her food or jump on her. Leoni was just so happy to be involved. She loved jumping around on the playscape and she even got on the slide! Leoni was a great car rider too. She laid right down, and was patiently waiting to have her door opened when they arrived. Leoni sure does sound like a whole lot of fun and sweetness combined! Sweet Leoni is estimated to be just over two years old, and weighs in at a petite 53 pounds. We think Leoni is a Lab, Pittie mix but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Fall in love with Leoni here: https://youtu.be/QXpG7_9paZQ?si=mb1qTtYex1QqgptH Leoni is still learning her leash manners, but already has amazing house manners. She’s a fast learner, food motivated, and a gentle treat taker! She knows how to “sit” for treats, and takes direction and correction from humans well. Super affectionate and loving, Leoni is quick to give kisses. Other dogs, humans, even her stuffies- no one is safe from Leoni’s kisses. Leoni even approaches for affection when she has the opportunity to play with other dogs, she can be found in any play yard sitting at the feet of the closest human, waiting patiently for pets. We think she could thrive as your one and only princess. Leoni is dog friendly and she has been introduced to a variety of dogs all with varying personalities. Leoni isn't super interested or really care too much to interact with other dogs. She prefers to be the center of attention. She is the type that just likes to hangout and explore the yard, do her own thing, or hanging out with her people. Which is definitely where she prefers to be in general. She is much more of a people's dog than a dog's dog. Don’t worry, she does great on walks when he sees other dogs, and she’s a great dog to take to the park with you! We honestly believe that Leoni would be happiest being your one and only fur baby in the home. She doesn't the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable or open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. We do not recommend Leoni for a home with kitties! Leoni has been kid tested, and her gentle and sweet nature leads us to believe she will be a perfect family dog. She got caught snuggling on the bed with Kobe, who is 4 years old. When we say she would be the perfect work from home dog, we say this we have seen this girl in her element. While spending some time inside, she managed to entertain herself while Kobe watched YouTube on his phone meanwhile Sara and Olga both worked on their computers. She threw her toys for herself while still making time to check in on everyone for some affection. After all of that fun, she came to lay down on the bed for more snuggles. We believe that Leoni would be happier in a house than an apartment. We are willing to test Leoni Roe with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! Lex is the epitome of a good time. She is a bouncy playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends constantly, dogs or humans. She knows how to have fun no matter where she is. The second I met Lex I fell in love, she is the definition of a perfect dog in my eyes. She is constantly booming with joy. Lex is the queen of zoomies, kisses and tug. When I first saw her she ran up to me with her tail wagging and a huge smile and immediately loved on us all. Lex loves to play with everyone, with the dogs she plays hard! She is full of energy. Check out Lex’s YouTube video to see her play! https://youtu.be/YrSuq_xIEYs?si=Ov2S-nPWZXAChnoI Lex is pitbull cattle dog mix, she has beautiful cattle spotting and super cute pointed ears. I think she is just the prettiest. Lex is 56lbs of pure happiness. When Lex did playgroup with our dogs she did great with every kind, she played with most of them for so long. She does have more of a rough play style but is so considerate of the dogs she play with, she’s good at reading vibes. Lex played the hardest with our more confident females that loved to play. She could do great in a home with males or females she just seems to like the ladies more. Just be prepared for them to play all day long. Lex would run around the yard for hours if you let her, it is super important for her to go into a home with a yard and an active owner. Our girl Lex is very high energy and loves to be active. The perfect owner for her would be someone that is familiar with cattle dogs because she is most definitely a wild child. She would bring so much joy into a home. Lex has not currently been kid tested but considering she is so loving we do believe she would love kids! I would suggest an older kid that can hold themselves up since she is so active and playful. We can do any testing that is needed. Cats are a no for Lex, she was so happy and excited to meet our cat biggie that we see her possibly being too rough with the cats when playing. Lex leash skills still need some perfecting, she loves to say hi to new people so pulls just a little to try and meet them. She is the type of dog that would train super well, she just needs some consistency. If you’re looking to bring Lex into your home to add happiness to your family please apply to adopt today! Story
Hope is one of those dogs who doesn’t run into anything …. Except treats. Once she realizes you might have a snack or gentle hands ready for pets her soft personality shines through. She loves affection, belly rubs, and she’s happiest just being near her people soaking up love at her own pace. Treats are absolutely her favorite thing and she’ll gladly show off her manners for one.She also enjoys toys and had fun playing with them, but overall hope is more of a laid-back relaxed girl than a rowdy one. She walks nicely on a leash and would be perfectly content with a few strolls a day followed by long naps. To see Hope eat up some treats watch her YouTube video https://youtu.be/Vjwqs02eeNM?si=H7N7N7mBm2BdDBuE Hope is believed to be an American pitbull terrier -American Staffordshire terrier mix. She is around six years old and weighs about 51 pounds. She is people friendly but appreciates a moment to warm up and once she does, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. Hope is more of an aloof, independent lady when it comes to other dogs, she coexist very well calmly sharing yards, allowing sniffs and minding her business, she doesn’t seek out play time, she tolerates other dogs nicely. She would be happy as an only dog, but could also live with a low energy, respectful dog who understands personal space. She is quiet, calm, and low-key - making her a great candidate for an apartment with regular walks and enrichment. She did a cat test with us and allowed the cat to sniff her closely without reaction, though the test was inconclusive and further testing would be needed because it is a new environment with a lot of things already going on. She has not been kid tested either, but we believe she would be best with older kids who understand boundaries and respect a dog space. Hope in a nutshell: Calm Quiet Affectionate Treat lover Queen of belly rubs Hope is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much only kindness, patience, and of course, treats. In return, she offers, quiet loyalty, gentle love, and the sweetest companionship. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Panda has so many layers, and peeling them back to find out new things about him is the most fun of all. He’s a shy guy— but in a good way! He’s cool as a cucumber with just hangin out around the house with his bone. If you’re looking for a rescue dog- you’re likely looking for a dog that you can form a deep bond with, a dog that knows you’ve saved their life, a dog that reward you endlessly with unconditional love and gratitude. That’s not all rescue dogs, but that is definitely Panda. Panda is estimated to be just two years old, and weighs in at 50 pounds. We think he’s a Pittie mix, but he is a rescue, so this is simply a best educated guess. Panda is lovingly named for both his black and white coat, and his mellow nature. He lovessss toys, chew bones, and his daily walks. All of the finer things in life, if you will. Panda craves routine and structure. He just loves waking up every day knowing what’s waiting for him! Fall in love with Panda here: https://youtu.be/7fApvgPOfRI?si=qUmVd1DqQKJnYTnn Panda is your dog’s best friend. He thrives in the company of goofy, playful dogs- his foster mom says that’s when he “really comes to life.” She says “While he gets along with male dogs, he gravitates to females.” We saw this during his behavior assessment, Panda enjoyed the company of every dog he met, but fell head over heels for Lucy. Lucy is a loving, confident and playful deaf Pittie of a similar size to Panda. When Panda met Lucy, he was instantly drawn to her open, happy, silly and friendly energy, and even started to play with her. His big play bow and bunny hops told us all that we needed to know- Panda’s doggy-soulmate is surely a goofy girl. Panda draws a lot of confidence from other dogs, we joke that Panda needs his own “emotional support dog,” and we hope he will be one of multiple dogs in your home. A perfect family dog, Panda was previously fostered in a home with children aged 5 and up. He did well with them, and we can definitely see him living in a home with little ones- provided they’re respectful and sweet with him. Panda is still learning about all of the luxuries that come with loving humans and a stable home. The key to Panda’s heart is patience, nylabones, and walks. He’s great on leash, perfect for tandem walking, and really bonds with his people through walks. His foster mom regularly takes him on tandem walks with her resident dog, and he does wonderfully. He races to the door when she picks up the leash, always excited for their next excursion. If your neighborhood isn’t the best place to walk, have no fear- Panda is a seasoned professional passenger. This cutie settles well in the backseat, and has patience through the entire car ride. Panda may still be learning, but he knows one thing for sure- sleeping in bed at night with his humans? That’s the life. Sweet Panda loves to snuggle up at night next to his human, and will sometimes cuddle. He’s also a huge fan of the couch, the lazyboy, pretty much anywhere that he can curl up and get comfy. He likes to inch closer to you, starting on the opposite end of the couch. Then when you’re not paying attention he’s right next to you! If a dog sharing your bed doesn’t sound too terribly enticing, that’s okay too- Panda is kennel trained and used to staying in his kennel while his foster mom is at work. He’s also fully house trained, for bonus points. Panda is such a perfect pooch, ready for his happily ever after. We think Panda’s perfect home is somewhere off the beaten path, a suburban or rural home, somewhere quiet and serene. Panda will thrive in a home with another dog, but we do not recommend him for a home with kitties. He is your dogs new best friend. Panda literally opens up 110% with dogs. He is so easy going and typically gets along with just about any new doggy friends! He greets them with respect and ease, showing everyone else how it’s done! Then it’s off to some gentle play. He loves a good sniff and romp around the yard with his new besties. Seeing panda with dogs just makes your heart melt, he’s really at home with his friends. Panda is a rescue dog, and likely will travel to meet you- naturally he will need to decompress, and he will require a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our dedicated behavior team, as well as Panda’s foster mom will be available to provide insight and advice about this period. We are willing to test Panda with anything you need us to in order to ensure he is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen- just let us know. A fun fact about Panda: his adoption coordinator is also his foster mom, please reach out to her via the email below with any and all questions. She will be over the moon to hear from you! Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
If you’re looking for a dog who will happily trade anything in the world for belly rubs and cuddle time, Paisley is your girl. Don’t worry though, you won’t be solely responsible for providing all the belly rubs by yourself, her friendly nature ensures any guest to your place will be greeted warmly and then gently asked for a belly rub, spreading the loving role across many. Meet her and see her sweetness in action here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/4ywtd5CmH6k Paisley is estimated to be about 2.5 years old, she weighs 67 pounds, and is likely a pittie mix. No guarantees on breed or birthday given she is a rescue. The heart and affection, that we can guarantee! She’s incredibly people-friendly, opens up quickly to new friends, and has a way of leaning in close that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. I can just see this girl greeting guests and working the room with ease. Can a social butterfly also be a couch potato? Yes! Paisley is proof! Paisley is happiest when she is by your side, or your lap, if you’re cool with that. She loves affection, is eager to please, and is very responsive to commands and gentle corrections. On leash, she has the basics down and keeps an easy pace. She can get a little wiggly with excitement passing another dog, but she checks in with her person and settles back into it with a little guidance. With other dogs she greets politely and can show her excitement by bouncing around and occasionally pawing at a dog. When they take her invitation for play she has a quick game of chase in her before she tires out and then she is happy to hang back and enjoy the shade. She does best with dogs who are calm, confident, and not easily fazed by her initial enthusiasm followed by short lived play. Best described as medium to low energy males. It is worth noting- Paisley would be perfectly happy to be your one and only. No guilt about her not having a “friend” or “doggie-sibling.” You are the prize and she knows that. Whether she’s living in a home with a yard or in an apartment with regular walks, Paisley is flexible, as long as she gets plenty of snuggles and belly rubs. A family with older kids would be best if she is becoming a family dog, her couch-potato ways fit the older kids. She can’t quite keep up with the play and adventures of the littles. Simply, she’s affectionate, gorgeous, and devoted- the perfect bestie! And she is ready and waiting for you! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
