Story
If James looks familiar, you may remember the heartbreaking video of a tiny puppy wandering alone out of the woods after being found abandoned on the side of the road. That scared little puppy is now safe, loved, and getting the second chance he has always deserved. James has been thriving in a wonderful southern foster home, where he has shown everyone just how resilient and loving he truly is. His foster describes him as an incredibly sweet, happy puppy who greets each day with curiosity and enthusiasm. He loves people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is playful and respectful with cats. He is always ready for his next adventure before happily settling in for a cuddle. Like any young puppy, James is learning about the world one day at a time. He is looking for a family that is committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into the incredible adult dog he is destined to become. James has already overcome more than any puppy ever should. Now all he needs is a family to show him that he will never be alone again. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal best friend into your home, James is ready to meet you. James is: * Sweet, affectionate, and playful * Social with people and other dogs * Playful and respectful with cats * Curious and eager to learn * Working on all of his puppy basics * Expected to be medium to large as an adult James is up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care, microchipped, and will go home with lifetime support from 603 Canine Rescue because our commitment to our dogs doesn’t end at adoption.

Story
Meet Sweet Mama Moosh! For years, Sweet Mama Moosh has known what it means to survive—but not what it feels like to truly belong. This beautiful 4-5 year old girl spent her life on the streets, where neighbors watched her lovingly raise at least two litters of puppies. While she made sure her babies were safe, no one was there to make sure she was. She endured hunger, uncertainty, and even an injured paw, yet somehow never lost her gentle, loving heart. When we trapped her, the plan was simply to spay her and return her to the streets. But after spending time with her, we knew we couldn't do it. Sweet Mama Moosh is far too affectionate, trusting, and deserving of love to spend another day wondering where she'll sleep or if she'll have enough to eat. She has fought to survive long enough. Now it's her turn to be cared for. Today, her paw has completely healed, and she has blossomed into a happy, healthy, beautiful girl who is finally ready for the life she's always deserved. She is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is now spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, potty trained and crate trained! Such an amazing girl!! She adores gentle pets, leisurely walks, and never says no to a tasty snack. 🥹 She has lived alongside other dogs on the streets. While she'll politely correct a dog that gets too pushy, she has otherwise done well around other dogs. Right now, Sweet Mama Moosh needs someone willing to open their heart and home—whether that's through fostering, foster-to-adopt, or giving her the forever family she's never had. If you've ever thought about changing a dog's life, this is your chance. Sweet Mama Moosh has spent years giving everything she had to survive and to care for others. Now she's simply asking for someone to choose her. Please help us give this sweet girl the ending she's waited her whole life for. ❤️

Story
Meet ZENA! If you`re looking for a gentle soul to share quiet days, cozy evenings, and lots of love, Zena may be the perfect companion. This beautiful 10-year-old Boxer mix has mastered the art of enjoying life`s simple pleasures. She thrives on a predictable routine, greeting each day with the cutest tail wag, and never says no to a good belly rub. One of her favorite things in the world is rolling around in soft grass when she`s feeling especially happy and excited. She has an expressive, almost human-like face that she uses to communicate with people like a pro!Zena is also a wonderful and perfect houseguest. She`s fully housetrained, respectful with her belongings, and is never fussy when it`s time for meals or treats. Above all else, she is affectionate, sweet, and simply loves being close people of all ages. Whether you`re relaxing on the couch or spending time in the yard, Zena is happiest just being by your side.Zena is looking for a very special family because she has Mast Cell Tumors (MCTs), a form of cancer. Right now, she`s feeling good and continues to enjoy every day to the fullest, but her future is uncertain. She is considered a hospice adoption, meaning we`re searching for someone with a big heart who can offer her the comfort, love, and security of a real home for whatever time she has left.We don`t know how much time that will be—but we do know that every dog deserves to spend their days surrounded by love in a home instead of in a shelter. If you`ve ever wanted to make an incredible difference in a dog`s life and be a hero, this is your chance. Zena isn`t looking for forever measured in years—she`s simply looking for someone who will make the rest of her life the best of her life. Could you be the one to give this wonderful girl the soft landing she deserves?

Story
Eddie is a goofy, loyal, lovable one‑year‑old Boxer mix with a big heart, an even bigger personality. If you’re looking for a playful, enthusiastic companion who embraces life with full-body wiggles, Eddie is your guy. Eddie loves other dogs. He’ll happily play from sunrise to bedtime. Eddie is great with people of all ages and has grown up alongside three young children (ages 2, 4, and 7). He’s eager to be part of family activities, especially when it involves a ball or a game of chase. Whether it’s backyard adventures or couch cuddles, Eddie wants to be right there with his humans. Eddie is still learning to feel confident in some situations. He experiences some separation anxiety when left alone. He’ll thrive with a patient family willing to take the time to help him become more confident when being alone. He is on daily and situational anxiety meds for the separation. Eddie comes with two prepaid at home training sessions with Red Pointy Dog Training.
