Cinderella (approximately 25 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from our friends at Humane World for Animals in Maryland. This affectionate little lady was rescued from a house with 40 - yes, that's FORTY! - other dogs. She has learned that she loves people and that cuddling is super fun. Cinderella is a busy girl who like to explore her surroundings, and she is just learning to walk on leash. We do often have to carry her in order to get her where she needs to go in a timely manner, so she is likely a flight risk outside as she will run off to explore whatever her nose tells her to if she manages to get loose from her leash. Cinderella is comfortable around other dogs and would probably prefer to live in a household with a confident adult dog who can show her how to dog properly when not surrounded for 40 other canines. We do not know the extent of her house manners as many of the dogs in her previous home were confined to crates while a few were allowed to roam the house. She will likely need some potty training reminders in her new home, and she should not be left loose while unsupervised until her adopter has a better idea of her house manners. Cinderella would love to be part of an active household where she can explore new areas & participate in fun activities with her humans.
