Pepper and her siblings are available for pre-adoption! These babies came to us with their mom from a case of severe neglect. Fortunately, they don't remember any of that and they're looking for their forever homes after being raised in a loving foster home! All of Brie's babies will be available after 2/19/25. Gryph is a 3-4 years old Boxer mix. At first he may seem shy but don't let that fool you! He is a big goofy guy who would love to have a family of his own. Gryph loves being part of the action. He loves to play and do zoomies. He is very smart and catches on quickly. He loves performing tricks and putting his own spin on each one, making them his own. So fully of personality! Gryph would do best in a home with older children and no cats. We have adoption clinic on the 1st Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications. Woola is. sweet middle-aged dog that is ready to move right into your heart and home. Woola is a gentle and well-mannered boy who walks nicely on a leash and is house-trained. He appreciates a soft dog bed and pets from his humans. His chestnut brown eyes convey kindness. He enjoys outings to pet stores and seems to like car rides—he’s quite the adventurer! His short snout gives Woola a charming boxer-like appearance; did you know boxers can also be white? He may be mixed cattle dog or other breeds common to New Mexico, but regardless he is 100% good dog. We hope you’ll consider welcoming Woola into your home! Kenna is a lovely, calmer dog with soulful boxer eyes. Kenna has come a long way since winding up at the Las Vegas shelter. She was scared, but instead of hiding, Kenna would sit in the middle of her kennel, interested in the people around her. She has been well-behaved in her foster home, especially with the two resident cats. Kenna is a good, calm companion. She doesn't ask for much, simply content to hang out after her walk. She would flourish in a quieter home with kind people. She enjoys her crate and is house-trained. Kenna is a boxer mix, about 5 years of age. If you’re interested in meeting Kenna, please let us know. She is located in Santa Fe and may not always be able to attend our adoption events. Are you feeling lucky? We can guarantee you will after meeting our lovely lady Dice! Maybe you will even roll a lucky 7? In a kind of ironic coincidence she is currently 7 years old as well as weighing a little over 77 lbs pounds. Despite being a larger dog she still has her manners about her and even has a few tricks up her sleeve! Our volunteers discovered Dice knows how to sit and shake with both paws! (one at a time though, of course). She can be a little shy at first sight, but once you take the time to get to know her, Dice’s exuberant, bubbly and playful personality truly blossoms! There is still much more to discover about her though and all it takes is for you to come meet her and win the jackpot of a lifetime of love, cuddles and joy watching her zoom and romp around!Dice’s adoption fee is paid by Nina Otero Community School, and a Special Thanks to Mrs. Vigil class fourth grade class! This is deeply appreciated from all of us at the shelter! She is spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply.
