Story
Meet Indigo & Ruby – the sweetest little survivors looking for their forever home Indigo and Ruby are a stunning pair of brindle Boxer mix puppies who were saved just minutes before euthanasia at a shelter in Tennessee. Their story could have ended far too soon, but these two resilient babies are proof that hope can bloom in the last moments. At approximately 3 months old and around 8 lbs each, Indigo and Ruby are everything you’d want in growing pups: bright‑eyed, affectionate, playful, and endlessly charming. Ruby is a gentle, sweet girl with a soft spirit, while Indigo is a beautiful boy with a curious, loving nature. They adore people, love to snuggle, and are quickly learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Both pups have received their age‑appropriate puppy vaccinations. They will need to be spayed/neutered when they reach the appropriate age. Indigo and Ruby are currently located in Tennessee, and transport is available to your area. If you’re ready to give one—or both—of these incredible pups the life they deserve, please reach out to Julie: 📞 919‑624‑0059 📧 julie@arcadiarescue.org These two have already beaten the odds. Now they just need someone to love them for the rest of their lives.

Story
Meet Maria — the little survivor with the biggest heart Maria arrived at a Tennessee shelter painfully underweight and malnourished, but even then, her gentle spirit never dimmed. At just 2 years old and only 30 lbs, she had already endured far more than any dog should. Today, thanks to loving foster care, Maria is blossoming. She’s gaining weight, feeling safe, and showing everyone what a happy, affectionate girl she truly is. Her tail wags nonstop, her eyes sparkle, and she’s discovering all the joys she missed out on — soft beds, full meals, toys, and people who adore her. Maria is fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready for her next chapter with a family who will cherish her. She’s a champion cuddler, a devoted TV‑watching buddy, and a playful toy enthusiast. Her sweet, calm nature makes her easy to love, and she’s eager to share her gratitude with every snuggle. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love, Maria is your girl. For more information or to meet Maria, please contact Julie at 919 624 0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org.

🚨 URGENT — MR. WORLDWIDE IS SET TO BE KILLED 🚨 This handsome brindle boy we’re calling Mr. Worldwide is out of time and needs a HERO RIGHT NOW 💔 Mr. Worldwide came into the shelter as a stray, and despite everything he’s been through, he is STILL gentle, loving, and just wants someone to notice him. He has the sweetest, softest eyes and a calm, polite personality. He walks wonderfully on leash, is easy to handle, and takes everything in with curiosity and hope. He’s been so patient… but shelter life is breaking him down. 💔 He will be killed if no one steps up. ✨ What we know about Mr. Worldwide: • Stunning brindle + white coat • Sweet, respectful, and people-friendly • Walks great on leash • Gentle, soulful, and trying so hard to stay hopeful • Dog-friendly (based on behavior in yard/walks) • Deserves a real home after being failed by humans He is NOT giving up — please don’t let the world give up on him. Mr. Worldwide deserves to see more of the world… not die behind shelter walls. 💔🐾 PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Meet Casey: The Sweet, Young, Soulful Boxer Ready for His Forever Adventure! Hello there! My name is Casey,—I’m just here for the love-vibes and the belly rubs. I’m a year-and-a-half-old Boxer with a big heart twice, and I’m looking for my permanent human pack- mate. My journey started down south in a crowded shelter where I was unclaimed and feeling a bit lonely. Thankfully, the amazing team at Boxer Rescue of Vermont saw my potential and brought me up to the Green Mountain State to find the life I’ve always dreamed of. 🐾 A Quick Note About My Photo You might notice a little bandage on my front leg in my picture. Don’t worry—I wasn’t in a scrap! That’s just where my catheter went when the rescue took me to get neutered. I’m a responsible gentleman now, completely healed, and ready to rock and roll! Why You’ll Love Me: • Social Butterfly: I get along famously with other dogs. Whether it's a game of tag or just hanging out, I’m a great companion. • People Person: I absolutely adore humans. If you have hands for petting, I have a head for leaning. • Leash Legend: I already walk really well on a leash, so I’m ready for those morning strolls or afternoon hikes. • Cat Neutral: I pretty much just ignore the feline residents. They do their thing, I do mine! • High Energy, High Heart: I’ve got that classic Boxer bounce! I’m looking for an active family who can keep me moving. My "Perfect Match" I’m a smart cookie, but I’m still a young guy with a lot of energy. I’m looking for a home that is excited to take me to obedience school. I want to be the best boy I can be, and I just need a patient leader to spend the time with me that I deserve. In return, I promise to provide a lifetime of goofy faces, loyal companionship, and enough love to fill your whole house.

Hi! My name is Raven! The shelter is my current home, but I'm looking for something a little more permanent. I've grown up here and even though I am comfortable with my shelter family, I may be a little shy with new people. I need a proper introduction with people and new animals. After a few days to get used to my new surroundings, I'll blossom into the fun loving dog I am. I like to run and play with my siblings and I always like to greet you with a smile. If you are interested in opening up your heart and home to a shelter dog in need, I could be the one!

Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation. Trix, 8 months, spayed female, Pitbull mix, 35 pounds. She is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and can transport once an adopter is matched. Meet Trix – The Shy Girl with the Sweetest, Smartest Soul Trix and her brother were surrendered to a shelter in Houston, and it was clear from the start that she was the more shut down of the two. While her brother has already found his forever family, we knew Trix needed extra time in foster care to build confidence before beginning her own journey home. Trix was significantly undersocialized early in life, and her baseline is fear of humans. That said, she has never shown any reactivity — no growling, barking, lunging, nipping, or biting. When she’s unsure, she simply looks for a safe place to hide (a closet, under a deck, a quiet corner). She is gentle — just scared. She is also very quiet and incredibly observant. Trix watches everything going on around her and picks things up quickly. She is VERY smart. Doggy door? She had that figured out within just a couple of days. She may be shy, but she is always learning. After a few days in a new environment, you can see her begin to soften. With patience and intentional time spent building trust, she grows more comfortable being near her people. Over time, she’ll surprise you — playing with toys when she thinks no one is watching, running and sunbathing with other dogs, and eventually choosing to curl up on the couch or sleep in bed with her humans. Trix does well with other dogs after proper acclimation, and we strongly believe she would thrive with a confident canine companion to follow and learn from. While not an absolute requirement, adopters without another dog should have a thoughtful plan for socialization and confidence building. She: Is housebroken Loves her crate Is learning to walk on a leash Has been around kids (shy at first) Is very quiet Has unknown history with cats Appears to be a low-rider mix who will likely be medium-sized when full grown Trix will need a home where someone is around more often than not — both because she’s still a puppy and because building trust takes time and consistency. She is not a “ready-made” confident dog. She is a diamond in the rough who will require patience, compassion, and commitment. But for the family willing to invest in her, the reward will be extraordinary. Watching Trix discover that the world isn’t so scary — that she is safe and loved — is something truly special. She deserves a family of her own. One that will help her find her courage and never give up on her. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her?
