Codi is a sweet 6-year old boxer mix (67% to be exact) the rest is a mix of Australian cattle dog, cavalier king Charles spaniel, & love. Codi has spent his last 5 years in a home with other dogs who he ultimately just wasn't getting along with. Things were escalating more frequently, and his owners decided that he'd be best suited in a home with no other dogs. He's lived with a cat for the past ~3 years and has shown no issues there. Codi has no child exposure, so at this point we're unsure how he would do; it could be assumed that he would do best with older children who are more understanding of dogs and their behaviors.Codi is a real sweetheart who would absolutely thrive in a single-dog household, so if you're looking to add to your family- he's the one for you!Codi is: Crate trained ✅Housebroken ✅Knows some basic commands ✅

My name`s Shenzee--named after the beloved hyena from The Lion King because I`ve kind of got hyena ears. All the better to hear you with! I`ve had my fair share of time here at the shelter and I`m more than ready to take on the next adventure. I. Am. Booorrreeeddd. Don`t get me wrong, these APF guys are trying their best, but what I really need is a active home where I can really work and be challenged! I`ve got little to no sense of self-preservation so wherever you go, I`ll follow! A mountain hike, a dog-friendly grocery store, a park, a car, the pool, the beach, a boat (I absolutely love the water), probably even the pits of Hell because I`ll be your ride-or-die rest assured. My friends here at the shelter think I may be mixed with Belgian Malinoise which attests to my energy level, high-intelligence, and confidence. After getting out my energy, I love to relax with a good hearty chew-safe bone to wind down next to my favorite people.
