Story

Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female, possibly Boxer/Terrier mix, and is around 10 1/2 months old (October 8th). At time of posting, she weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Sami's life is up in the air & she needs a special family to give her a home until it gets figured out. Sami's mom has been living in a medical facility, hoping to one day be reunited with Sami, but that is looking like a very long way off, if ever. MEET SCRAPPY: Scrappy was found wandering in a local park and he is settling in well at his foster home. He gets excited when greeting someone he knows, but generally has a sweet, calm demeanor. He seems happiest when he can climb into the lap of a familiar person. He may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly with a gentle approach and snacks! His foster family has a curious cat, and while they have not been formally introduced, he mostly ignores her and other small critters he has seen on his walks. He has not been around children or other dogs thus far. Scrappy is well crate-trained and is quickly learning not to pull when walking on a leash.
