Story
Neptune came in to the rescue with his brother Stanley.  Both were extremely under weight and had little to no socialization.  Neptune was inhaling his food, but the foster has slowed him down and this will get better as he realizes he can rely of food being there for him.  Neptune is very cuddly and likes to be with his people.  He is working on potty training.  He has started playing a little with toys and is good on leash.  He sleeps at night in his crate.  He does whine a little when being left alone in the crate but settles down after 20 minutes or so.  Neptune's adoption fee is $450 which goes toward neutering at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adopton, and microchip.  He is located in the Syracuse area and available for meets.  ##2156664##

Story
Stanley, along with his brother Neptune came into the rescue extremely underweight as 5 month old puppies with little to no socialization.  Their cute white paws were stained yellow.  Each bath improves the color.  Stanley has come a long way in the last two weeks.  His weight is filling in.  He is still a little shy, but opens up pretty quickly.  If you are looking for a cuddler, you've found your pup.  He walks very well on leash.  He sits for treats now and is less reactive to food and undertanding he can count on it being there. He is getting used to his crate and has put himself in it.  He is still working some on potty training.  So far, Stanley's interaction with cats has been good.  He basically ignores them.  He plays well with his foster brother.  Stanley is in foster care in the Syracuse area and avaiable for meets.  Stanley's adoption fee is $450 which goes towards neutering at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, and microchip. ##2156663##

Story
Jack has recently developed a pretty intense fear aggression with a recent history of biting. Living in a cul-de-sac with kid's friends that randomly show up, we cannot have him at our house anymore. I have called the agency where we got him and due to bite history, they wouldn't be able to foster him. He has been on Prozac 40 mg for at least 6 weeks now and we have Ativan to give him when we know we are having company over. We have met with a complex behavioralist after the initial bite and to do what we need to do to train him would mean that both my husband and I would need to quit our jobs. He really needs to find a home where they have the time and bandwidth to re-train/train the fear/anxiety out of him. He is an absolutely amazing dog - super obedient, house trained, sits, lays, shakes paw, plays well with Zero. Has not really been exposed to other dogs yet he likes our bearded dragon. Truly breaks our hearts to even have to be in this position.

Story
Scooby is an adorable Boxer mix who was found running in the Town of Lafayette. He is a CRAZY young man with LOTS of energy to burn! But he is very funny and would provide a lot of entertainment for his new family. He would be great in a home with children 8 and older (so he doesn't knock them over)
