Story
Hi, I’m Jovie. I’m about 1 year and 3 months old, weigh around 40 pounds, and I’m a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped boxer mix. I’m incredibly friendly and full of life. I love to play, I love my chew toys, and I’m always ready for the next adventure. I’m an active girl who enjoys staying busy and being included in daily activities—especially walks. I do well with other dogs, but I’m best matched with bigger dogs only, preferably another young, playful pup who can keep up with my energy. Cats are not a good fit for me, and chickens are a definite no. I’ve made my feelings about chickens very clear. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. An active home would be perfect for me, and a fenced yard would be a big plus so I have space to run and play safely. I was adopted from this rescue when I was around 4 months old, and I’m now back in their care because I couldn’t resist the temptation of the chicken coop—despite many attempts to keep me out. Sometimes instincts win. I’m a great dog who just needs the right environment to succeed. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion who’s affectionate, playful, and always up for something to do, I’m ready to find my forever home—one without chickens, but full of love and activity.

Story
Bruno is a silly and awkward boy that I love so so much but can no longer take care of him as he deserves. He gets anxious when left alone and will chew his paws so it’s best he goes to a home with another dog or to a home where he’s not left alone. Bruno is house trained but he is not crate trained. He knows basic commands like sit lay down wait and break. He loves car rides runs and meeting new friends human or animal. He’s pretty submissive even to cats lol and not aggressive at all. Great with kids and other animals just gets super excited and a bit jumpy. I’m actually really sad that I can’t afford him anymore and can’t give him what he needs but I’m really hoping he can go to a kind family who will see him as a family member and not just a pet. Bruno is such a good goofy boy and has gotten me through a lot so I hope whatever family he goes to is willing to stay in touch and let me know how he’s doing every now and then. I have a crate, food bin and bowls/heightened tray 4free.

Story
Abbie was adopted from a Humane Society. She is approximately 5.5 yrs old. She had been tied out and bred, so she gets agitated around large male dogs. She has done well with smaller females such as a pug and a chihuahua. Abbie has done well around infants and children with no issues. She is crate trained, but doesn't like it closed. She will sleep in it on her own if it is open. She is interested in my cat, but my cat (Senior) wants nothing to do with her, so I'm not sure how she would actually do.Abbie wants to be with her person and loves to be touching them. She knows when I don't feel good, or am upset, and she'll get in my space. She is very playful and deserves room to run and play. My medical needs and housing changes don't allow me to keep her any more.
