Hi future best friend, I’m Jupiter! I’ve been told I’m a Boxer mix, but honestly I think I’m mostly just… dog? Big, wiggly, slightly slobbery good vibes.I ended up at FDHS as a stray, which is weird, because I definitely feel like I used to belong to somebody. I’m pretty good at this whole “being a Good Boy” thing. I’ve got manners, I like people a whole lot, and I don’t really cause a fuss. So… not sure how I got here, but here I am.I’m super friendly with my caregivers. Like, really friendly. If you sit down, I will probably try to be part of that situation. Personal space is more of a suggestion, right? I’ve also got a goofy side… sometimes I do things and even I’m not sure why I did them, but it makes people laugh, so I consider that a win.Other dogs? Meh. I don’t mind them, don’t need them. I’m kind of doing my own thing. Cats… no clue. I haven't met one here. Could be cool, could be weird. Life is full of mysteries. I guess what I’m saying is… if you want a sweet, slightly dopey, very lovable guy who will hang out with you and occasionally make you laugh just by existing, I’m single and searching.**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs 54 lbs**

Life didn’t always treat him kindly, but you’d never know it from his gentle spirit and hopeful heart. Kane has held onto his sweetness through it all, and now he’s just looking for a soft place to land where he can truly relax and be loved the way he deserves. This sweet senior boy is all about the simple things—cozy beds, kind words, and being close to his people. He’s past the puppy chaos and would much rather spend his days soaking up affection, enjoying leisurely strolls, and just being your loyal companion. Kane has so much love left to give and is ready to spend his golden years making up for lost time.The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. At 8 years young, this Boxer/Lab mix is still full of energy, wiggles, and pure joy. Her happy “wiggly butt” greeting is guaranteed to make your day every single time! Lulu is as sweet as they come—friendly, loving, and absolutely obsessed with giving (and receiving!) kisses. She’s potty trained, enjoys her walks, and does wonderfully with kids. She may need a little polish on her leash manners, but she’s eager to please and ready to learn with her forever family. This girl still has plenty of pep in her step and so much love left to give.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a whole lot of heart, Lulu is your girl. Don’t overlook this golden-hearted sweetheart—her best chapters are still waiting to be written… maybe with you.  New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
