Story
Hi future best friend, I’m Jupiter! I’ve been told I’m a Boxer mix, but honestly I think I’m mostly just… dog? Big, wiggly, slightly slobbery good vibes. My time at FDHS has been...an event. You know how some dogs have a rough start at the shelter? Mine has mostly involved accidentally injuring myself in increasingly creative ways. First, I sliced my paw open, which led to three separate vet visits because I wasn't very committed to the healing process. Then I discovered something called Happy Tail Syndrome. If you're unfamiliar, it's what happens when a dog has a powerful wagging tail and absolutely no self-preservation instincts spends too much time whacking said tail against kennel walls. Long story short, I ended up needing a partial tail amputation. I look a little silly now, but I feel a whole lot better. The recovery process involved wearing a giant cone, which was deeply offensive to me. For weeks I wandered around looking like a satellite dish, occasionally running into walls, doors, and people. Nobody was safe. The good news is that I'm all healed up now and still just being me! I love my humans, I love attention, and if you sit down, I'll probably try to become part of whatever you're doing. Personal space is still more of a suggestion than a rule. Other dogs? Meh. I don't mind them, don't necessarily need them. Cats don't really seem to bother me either. If your household needs some slobbery kisses, a personal comedian, and a professional snuggle buddy - I am single and searching!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs 54 lbs**

Story
🐾 Meet Frannie: a Boxer mix with strong opinions, expressive eyebrows, and the undeniable belief that she is qualified to judge everyone’s life choices. She will look at you like you’ve personally offended her ancestors… and then immediately ask for belly rubs. It’s a confusing but lovable system. Frannie’s daily routine includes supervising the household with intense side-eye, sighing dramatically at human incompetence (like not opening treats fast enough), and repositioning herself for maximum dramatic effect. If you drop food, she saw it happen. If you don’t drop food, she will question your intentions. Despite her resting “I’m disappointed in you” face, Frannie is pure sweetness underneath the sass. She loves her people fiercely, just with commentary. Think of her as your tiny emotional support critic who also demands pets as payment. Frannie is part elegance, part goof, and entirely unforgettable—a fluffy little courtroom judge who rules every room… but always rules with love. Dogs: Would prefer to be the only dog Cats: Unknown Kids: 12+ Must meet all kiddos in the home!
