Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption fee has been covered -- she deserves an amazing home. It's time! Meet Lulu Our fabulous resident senior is here to prove that age is just a number! At 8 years young, this Boxer/Lab mix is still full of energy, wiggles, and pure joy. Her happy “wiggly butt” greeting is guaranteed to make your day every single time! Lulu is as sweet as they come—friendly, loving, and absolutely obsessed with giving (and receiving!) kisses. She’s potty trained, enjoys her walks, and does wonderfully with kids. She may need a little polish on her leash manners, but she’s eager to please and ready to learn with her forever family. This girl still has plenty of pep in her step and so much love left to give.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a whole lot of heart, Lulu is your girl. Don’t overlook this golden-hearted sweetheart—her best chapters are still waiting to be written… maybe with you.**Please Note: Due to Lulu being a senior dog, she may need to be on Rimadyl or a similar arthritis medication the rest of her life.  New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.  Our website is www.perfectpawspetrescue.org cut and paste our web address into your browser to get to our site.  Email any questions to perfectpawsrescueinc@gmail.com NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.  Fort Wayne Indiana vicinity.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 11, 2026, 3:01 pm

Story
Meet Rumi: a loving, affectionate angel wrapped around the soul of a tiny outlaw. Rumi's hobbies include giving kisses, making friends, zooming at unsafe speeds, and carefully evaluating every fence for structural weaknesses. She loves people, loves attention, and loves adventure—especially the kind she invents herself. This sweet girl has enough energy to power a small city and approaches every day like she's just had six espressos and received excellent news. Whether it's walks, playtime, or following you around the house, Rumi is all in. A quick note on security: Rumi does not believe in captivity. She views leashes as a negotiation, fences as a challenge, and closed gates as an intriguing mystery that deserves further investigation. If left unattended in a yard, she may decide she has important business elsewhere. We're pretty sure if Rumi had thumbs, she'd have escaped three times already. Her ideal family will appreciate her loving heart, her hilarious personality, and her commitment to living life at maximum speed. In return, she'll provide endless entertainment, unconditional love, and a daily reminder to double-check the gate latch. Dogs: Unknown, we rec. a meet and greet! Cats: I have lived with a kitty, but slow intro needed! Kids: Unknown, we rec. a meet and greet!

Story
🐾 Meet Frannie: a Boxer mix with strong opinions, expressive eyebrows, and the undeniable belief that she is qualified to judge everyone’s life choices. She will look at you like you’ve personally offended her ancestors… and then immediately ask for belly rubs. It’s a confusing but lovable system. Frannie’s daily routine includes supervising the household with intense side-eye, sighing dramatically at human incompetence (like not opening treats fast enough), and repositioning herself for maximum dramatic effect. If you drop food, she saw it happen. If you don’t drop food, she will question your intentions. Despite her resting “I’m disappointed in you” face, Frannie is pure sweetness underneath the sass. She loves her people fiercely, just with commentary. Think of her as your tiny emotional support critic who also demands pets as payment. Frannie is part elegance, part goof, and entirely unforgettable—a fluffy little courtroom judge who rules every room… but always rules with love. Dogs: Unknown, we rec. a meet and greet Cats: Unknown Kids: Must meet all kiddos in the home

Story
👑 Prince 👑💙Prince is a 2 year old, 68 pound pit bull mix. He appears to maybe have some American Bulldog in him? We pulled him along with Snow White and their 7 Dwarf puppies from the Indianapolis where they were “strays” so age and breeds are both estimated based on looks and health. 💚Prince is a very friendly, easy going guy. He is great with other dogs big and small, doesn’t mind cats and good with kids. He is crate trained and potty trained, walks well on leash and rides well in the car. 💜Prince is a good mix of goofy/playful and couch potato. He would love a home were he can lounge on the couch, play with another dog and cuddle with you in bed - make note: your spot in bed is his spot if you don’t beat him to it! 🧡In a perfect world, we would love for Prince and Snow White to be adopted together as they are very much BFFs but we know that is a very big ask. As long as they have other doggie companions that they can cuddle and play with; they should be just fine in separate homes. 💛Prince is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested negative and on heartworm prevention. Prince is more than ready for his forever home! If you are interested in adopting Prince please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered.
