Life didn’t always treat him kindly, but you’d never know it from his gentle spirit and hopeful heart. Kane has held onto his sweetness through it all, and now he’s just looking for a soft place to land where he can truly relax and be loved the way he deserves. This sweet senior boy is all about the simple things—cozy beds, kind words, and being close to his people. He’s past the puppy chaos and would much rather spend his days soaking up affection, enjoying leisurely strolls, and just being your loyal companion. Hi future best friend, I’m Jupiter! I’ve been told I’m a Boxer mix, but honestly I think I’m mostly just… dog? Big, wiggly, slightly slobbery good vibes.My time at FDHS has been...an event. You know how some dogs have a rough start at the shelter? Mine has mostly involved accidentally injuring myself in increasingly creative ways. First, I sliced my paw open, which led to three separate vet visits because I wasn't very committed to the healing process. Then I discovered something called Happy Tail Syndrome. If you're unfamiliar, it's what happens when a dog has a powerful wagging tail and absolutely no self-preservation instincts spends too much time whacking said tail against kennel walls. Long story short, I ended up needing a partial tail amputation. I look a little silly now, but I feel a whole lot better. The recovery process involved wearing a giant cone, which was deeply offensive to me. For weeks I wandered around looking like a satellite dish, occasionally running into walls, doors, and people. Nobody was safe. The good news is that I'm all healed up now and still just being me! I love my humans, I love attention, and if you sit down, I'll probably try to become part of whatever you're doing. Personal space is still more of a suggestion than a rule. Other dogs? Meh. I don't mind them, don't necessarily need them. Cats don't really seem to bother me either. If your household needs some slobbery kisses, a personal comedian, and a professional snuggle buddy - I am single and searching!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. He lived in a home with other dogs and children. He is perfectly house trained and crate trained. He will easily adjust in his forever home. He is great with other dogs and children. She had a terrible flea infestation and was missing a lot of hair. She was also thin and needed wormed. She has now been fully vetted and has put on some much needed weight. For everything she has been through Laila is still a very kind and gentle girl. She eagerly wants to please you and should quickly learn new commands. She has some energy but also calms down nicely. She is good with her food and happily shares toys and treats. She has been through enough and now deserves to live the good life. She seems very well house trained. Riley is a spayed female pit mix. She is around 46 lbs. she was pulled from the Allen County Dog Warden. Riley has an old injury that has left her with a permanent limp, which does not stop her from behaving like a normal dog. She still plays and will chase after toys, and loves play fighting with other dogs and running with them outside. She will always choose to be cuddled and loved on over anything else. She just craves attention and love. She is ok on a leash but does pull a little. Good in the car and likes car rides. She is good with other dogs and loves kids. I would recommend no cats but she does live around a few of them. She just doesn't know her size and likes to chase them. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heart worm negative. She is crate trained. Riley is house trained and does well as long as she is let out consistently.

Meet Moxy her birthdate is 12/2/2025. She is such a sweet girl!! She does have alot of energy and loves to play but once she calms down she totally melts into you. She likes giving kisses and her tail always wagging. She loves treats and we are working on commands. She is crate trained and potty trained. Moxy is good with other dogs and cats!! She does okay on a leash but still needs a little work. She will be spayed on May 21st and UTD on shots ready for her forever home.
