Hi, I`m Moo! I`m about 3.5 years old and weigh 72 pounds.** I still need to be spayed/neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I came in to the shelter with another dog. Staff suspect that I`d do best in a home with a calmer canine companion, who can be respectful of my need for space.Cats? Unknown. I can be a pretty energetic girl, I may be to much for kitties in a home, Slow and proper introductions would help set me up for success.Kids? I`m a wiggly girl & I don`t want to accidentally knock anyone over. I`d like to start out meeting kids who are (8+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Moo? I`m a big, sweet house hippo who`s looking for my forever family. I`m an affectionate gal who loves to snuggle and play. Come meet me to see if we`d be a good match.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Her kennel-trained demeanor showcases her discipline and intelligence, making her a delight to be around. Story
Meet Garth! Garth is a resilient English Bulldog with a heart as big as his jowls. Garth was found in rough shape, suffering from a severe case of demodex mange, painfully infected ears and paws, and clear signs of long-term, untreated skin disease. Despite everything he’s been through, Garth has shown incredible strength and sweetness. Under the care of our dedicated veterinary team, his comfort has improved, his skin is healing, and his true personality is beginning to shine through. This boy is feeling SO much better.  Garth’s journey isn’t a short one. He will need continued veterinary care, including regular checkups, medications, and a committed routine to keep him comfortable and healthy. He will likely require lifelong managment of his skin and ears. Because of this, Garth is looking for a special adopter, someone patient, compassionate, and prepared to partner with their vet to give him the quality of life he deserves. We will continue to care for him, which includes his neuter in the next few weeks and are commited to his path of wellness but feel he would thrive even more with the right human and home. Garth is a super sweet boy who adores all his people and loves meeting new ones. He has done great meeting other dogs and would do well living with a female dog who doesn't mind a snorty friend. Garth enjoys easy strolls where he can get his sniffs in, plays with toys and of course gets lots of naps in. Because he can sometimes be a typical pushy bulldog we don't feel he would pair well with young kids in a home. Cats are an unknown. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Garth's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Garth would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : female dogs  Kiddos : 13+    ##2637066##
