Meet Bella-boo! 🥰 While driving to a vet visit for another pup, Bella-boo was found foraging for food on the side of a rural highway with no houses around. She was understandably hesitant to approach, but some food did the trick! She has come around to be one of the most loving, cuddly brindle lap dogs. Bella will be your shadow, but she also loves to run around in the back yard, and is a good alert dog. Most importantly, Bella-boo, lovingly nicknamed Baby Girl, LOVES to snuggle and sleep on the bed. She has no concept of personal space, for either people or other dogs. She loves to lick other dogs in the face, so if you have a dog already, be sure they are patient, and love to snuggle with other dogs! She's fully vetted and ready for her forever home! When he is not playing hard, he just wants to cuddle and warning... he thinks he is a lap dog. He enjoys chewing on bones, deer antlers, and playing with squeaky toys. A fenced yard would be ideal for his energy. If no fence, daily exercise would be a must for him. He rides great in the car and would be a great dog for hikes and long walks. Don't let his age fool you.. this boy still has lots of energy and love to share. He would do best in a calmer home without a lot of people in and out. He does well with medium to large dogs, small dogs we would not recommend. He is not good with cats. Older/considerate kids would be best for him to play with since he is a solid boy. He seems to do best with women and is slow to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, you’re golden. He came to ODAAT after his human Mom passed away in their home. Deitz stayed by her side for days until they were found by family and sadly, the family was unable to keep him. Understandably so, he will be protective of your family.
