Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Deitz is an Old American bulldog mix who is true to his breed. He was born in 2013. When he is not playing hard, he just wants to cuddle and warning... he thinks he is a lap dog. He enjoys chewing on bones, deer antlers, and playing with squeaky toys. A fenced yard would be ideal for his energy. If no fence, daily exercise would be a must for him. He rides great in the car and would be a great dog for hikes and long walks. Don't let his age fool you.. this boy still has lots of energy and love to share. He would do best in a calmer home without a lot of people in and out. He does well with medium to large dogs, small dogs we would not recommend. He is not good with cats. Older/considerate kids would be best for him to play with since he is a solid boy. He seems to do best with women and is slow to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, you’re golden. He came to ODAAT after his human Mom passed away in their home. Deitz stayed by her side for days until they were found by family and sadly, the family was unable to keep him. Understandably so, he will be protective of your family. He would never want to lose you. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are  to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Applications are found on our website www.onedogatatime.us. Please watch for a welcome email so we can process your application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:55 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Chunk! I am a gorgeous Labradoodle and Boxer mix or as I like to call myself, a Leboxer Doodle! Im a friendly, fun-loving dog with lots of great qualities. I love running, playing, and spending time with my family.   While I can be a little nervous in new situations, especially if I m startled, I warm up quickly once I feel safe. I absolutely adore kids and enjoy being around them! I thrive on affection and praise, and of course, I am a big fan of treats - what good boy isnt ?   Im a big boy with puppy dog eyes that are hard to resist. I also love car rides and enjoy the adventure that comes with them! Plus, I am a pro at walking on a leash, so we can go on all sorts of fun walks together.   If you are looking for a loving, playful companion, I just might be the one for you! Lets make some memories together! Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT. Our dedication to our animals goes beyond finding them a home; we aim to match them with families where they will thrive and receive the love and care that they so desperately deserve. We believe in finding not just homes, but forever families for our beloved animals. Our thorough adoption process is designed to ensure that each furry friend finds the perfect match based on their unique needs and personalities. Please know that we do not rush this process, as we prioritize compatibility over speed. Your patience and understanding as we work towards finding the ideal match for both our rescues and your family means the world to us. Our applications can be found at www.onedogatatime.us .  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:55 am
