Story
Hi, I’m Mufasa—4 months old, have soft ears that you won't be able to resist, and already convinced I’m the cutest baby you’ll ever have (spoiler: I’m right). My Resume of Awesomeness: 🚗 Car Enthusiast: I love rides in the car. Windows down, ears flapping—life is good. 🐕 Walks & Treats: My two favorite hobbies. Bonus points if they happen at the same time. 🐱 Cat Diplomacy: I respect feline boundaries. Cats are royalty, and I bow accordingly. 🧥 Geek Chic: I tolerate being dressed in sweaters that make me look like your favorite Comic-Con sidekick. 👩‍🎤 Teenager Fluent: I totally get human teenager play. TikTok dances? Fortnite zoomies? I’m in. 🐶 Dog Socialite: I love playful pups but politely ignore crabby older dogs (because wisdom deserves respect). 💋 Kiss Machine: My love language is sweet kisses. Prepare yourself. 🛋️ Gentle Soul: Unlike most puppies, I won’t chew your shoes or furniture. But I will haul my food dish around as a subtle reminder that it’s empty. Why You’ll Love Me: I’m gentle, goofy, and snuggly. I’ll be your co-pilot in the car, your cuddle buddy on the couch, and your loyal sidekick in life. Basically, I’m the full package—minus the shoe destruction. Before You Apply – Please Read:Puppies require time and patience.✔ They can’t be left alone all day — 4 hours max until they’re at least 6 months old.✔ Kids should be ready for a real, wiggly, sometimes-nippy baby who needs gentle handling and structure. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Name: Mufasa Breed: Boxer/Pit Bull TerrierAge: 16 weeks as of 11/20Weight: Average weight is 25 lbs as of 11/10Spayed/Neutered: Too young — spay/neuter contract required and strictly enforcedVaccinations: All puppy vaccines completed, including rabiesHeartworm: Too young for testing (done at 6 months)Housetrained: Not usually at this ageMicrochipped: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Yes - as puppies should be able to help them interact peacefully with cats.Adoption Fee: $500Location of dog currently:   New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Pearlie! 🐾😍 This beautiful 2-year-old Boxer mix is as sweet and gentle as they come. Pearlie is the definition of an easygoing companion — affectionate, funny, and always ready to soak up all the love and belly rubs she can get. She’s social and friendly with everyone she meets and loves being part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s a cozy snuggle on the couch or enjoying some sunshine in the yard. Pearlie is housebroken, crate trained, and wonderfully well-mannered. She gets along great with kids and other dogs, but she’d prefer a home without cats. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she’ll adore them. With her soft caramel-and-white coat, floppy ears, and those warm, soulful eyes, Pearlie is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. She has a gentle, loving spirit that wins everyone over and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared with her forever family ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com

Story
Meet Sarabi of Our Mississippi 8!Eight beautiful Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix puppies are headed our way from Hernando, Mississippi — and trust us, they’re absolute gems. These babies have been in the local shelter since they were tiny, yet somehow had zero interest. Locals must be missing out, because these pups are stunning. At 4 months old, they’ve already completed all their puppy vaccines, including rabies. The only thing left (once they reach 6 months) is their spay/neuter — and we’ll even help with that cost. These pups come with classic puppy energy: curious, playful, occasionally mouthy, and ready to learn. Training should start right away to set them up for success, support socialization, and build a strong bond with their new person.Sarabi is smart girl. She can even figure out her “treat puzzle”https://youtube.com/shorts/A_WNNSGm0_4?feature=sharedThey arrive in New England on 11/22 and will be placed in various foster homes throughout the region. If you’re able to choose just one (somehow!), get that application in quickly — they won’t last long. Before You Apply – Please Read:Puppies require time and patience.✔ They can’t be left alone all day — 4 hours max until they’re at least 6 months old.✔ Kids should be ready for a real, wiggly, sometimes-nippy baby who needs gentle handling and structure. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Breed: Boxer/Pit Bull TerrierAge: 17 weeks as of 11/29Weight: Average weight is 25 lbs as of 11/10Spayed/Neutered: Too young — spay/neuter contract required and strictly enforcedVaccinations: All puppy vaccines completed, including rabiesHeartworm: Too young for testing (done at 6 months)Housetrained: Not usually at this ageMicrochipped: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Yes - as puppies should be able to help them interact peacefully with cats.Adoption Fee: $500Location of dog currently:   New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Chloe is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Chloe was a puppy mill breeder dog. Those days are behind her and she’s ready to begin her life as a family dog. Chloe is doing great with crate training and house training. She walks wonderfully on leash and does well meeting other dogs while on leash. Chloe does not care for puppies and can be selective. Chloe can be vocal, so no apartment living for this girl. She’s ready to be loved and have a home of her own. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter. If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today! Be sure to check our Facebook page "Rhode Home Rescue" for details on upcoming events and other announcements.
