What a combination! He's silly, goofy, and always ready to have a good time. Give him a yard, some toys, and a little playtime, and Moose is in his happy place! He loves hopping around, playing, and generally making everyone smile. Being young, Moose still has plenty of enthusiasm and puppy-like energy. He'd do best with savvy children who don't mind the occasional enthusiastic tumble or getting knocked over in the excitement of playtime. Have a resident dog? Meet Demi! 🐾🥰 This 3-year-old Boxer mix is as lovable as they come. With her soft eyes, big smile, and constantly wagging tail, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Demi is what we like to call extra huggable (yes, a little chunky—currently built more like a sausage than a supermodel), but that just means more to cuddle! She’s recently started a new diet, so she’s officially on her health kick journey—though if you ask her, she’d still prefer pizza over Pilates. Demi’s personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She’s sweet, silly, and has a way of making everyone laugh. She gets the zoomies like a puppy, does a little dance when she’s happy, and soaks up attention like it’s her job. She’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for just about any family. She’s also the full package when it comes to manners—crate trained, housebroken, spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Rusty is very playful with his littermates and LOVES TOYS, especially squeaky ones! He also loves water and playing in kiddie pools. Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry HERE Age: 3 years Weight: 45 lbs (as of 10/30/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. About Roxy Baby Roxy Baby is the perfect blend of athletic Boxer energy and sweet companion. At three years old, she has outgrown the hectic puppy phase but still has plenty of stamina for long walks, backyard games of fetch, or weekend hikes. When playtime is over, she loves nothing more than curling up next to her favorite humans for some well-deserved belly rubs. Because Roxy Baby's history with children and felines is currently unknown, a home that can manage slow, managed introductions would be best. If you have kids or other pets, a meet-and-greet will be an important step to ensure everyone gets along. She would thrive with an active individual or family who can give her the exercise, training, and love she deserves. Medical Note: This dog is being treated/has been treated for heartworm disease. Untreated heartworm disease can cause lasting damage to the heart, lungs and arteries, and can affect the dog’s health and quality of life even after the parasites are gone, possibly presenting as medical complications and/or new conditions in the future. Whenever possible, SOSARL advocates for following the American Heartworm Society guidelines for heartworm disease treatment as the safest and most effective methods; the active portion of this treatment protocol can take up to four months to complete. Once treatment is completed and the dog tests negative for microfilaria, the dog will be cleared to resume normal activity and will be ready to travel north and be placed into an adoptive home. This dog showed no symptoms of heartworm disease before or during treatment, and is expected to complete treatment with no complications. Please ask your Adoption Counselor for the specific treatment protocol used for and current status of this dog.
