Story
Rin is a petite brindle beauty, about two years old, with a massive zest for life packed into her small pittie frame. She’s sweet, playful, and fast on her feet—especially when there’s a tennis ball involved! Fetch is her absolute favorite game, and she’ll happily chase after the ball as long as you throw it.This high-energy girl is still very puppyish in her behavior, despite paperwork suggesting she’s closer to 2. Luckily, she settles well in her crate after playtime and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Rin’s love language is touch—she wants to climb into your lap, wrap herself around you, and soak up every ounce of affection.Rin is incredibly social with humans and wants to meet every person she sees. With other dogs, however, she’s still learning her manners. She can be a bit too pushy and insistent, which has led to some altercations with tolerant males she’s been introduced to. With training, structure, and patience, Rin has excellent potential to mature into a more respectful playmate. For now, she may do best as your one-and-only pup while she learns. She is spending two weeks at Gagnon's Pet Resort where she'll learn more about how to be the best dog she can be!!This gal is very smart and she already knows several basic commands. Story
We are obsessed with Pippa. She is a 9 month old, female, Boxer mixed breed. Her soft, expressive face that tells a story of both hardship and resilience. She was found on the side of the road with her sibling, painfully thin and searching for food wherever she could. During intake at the southern rescue, she was so hungry that she tried to eat her dewormer. The crushing memory of that moment has stayed with everyone who has met her. Even with all she has been through, her sweetness remains. She is slowly learning that meals come regularly now, that hands can be kind, and that people can be safe. Each day she relaxes a little more, leans in a little closer, and begins to trust the world in front of her. Staff and volunteers have quickly fallen for her quiet bravery. She accepts love with growing confidence and is discovering the joy of soft beds, full bowls, and gentle voices. Pippa will blossom beautifully in a patient home where she can continue to learn what it means to be secure and adored. She has already come so far and has so much love ahead of her. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. Story
Bowie is a 9 month old, male, Boxer mixed breed. His story is heartbreaking and we are on a mission to find him the most amazing forever home possible. Bowie was found on the side of the road, severely underweight and desperately hungry. During intake, he was so starved that he even tried to eat his dewormer, a heartbreaking reminder of how little he had before being rescued. He is now safe, fed, and slowly learning that he never has to fight for his next meal again. Trust is something he’s still learning, but his progress has been remarkable. The gentle tail wags, the cautious steps forward, and the moments when he leans in for comfort show just how hard he is trying. Everyone who spends time with him is moved by his resilience. His sweetness reveals itself more every day, and there is a quiet gratitude in the way he looks at the people who care for him. Bowie is ready for a home that understands that healing takes time and love. With consistency, compassion, and stability, he is sure to grow into the joyful, confident dog he was always meant to be. Story
Meet Demi! This 3-year-old Boxer mix is as lovable as they come. With her soft eyes, big smile, and constantly wagging tail, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Demi is what we like to call “extra huggable” (yes, a little chunky- currently built more like a sausage than a supermodel), but that just means more to cuddle! She’s recently started a new diet, so she’s officially on her “health kick” journey—though if you ask her, she’d still prefer pizza over Pilates. Demi’s personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She’s sweet, silly, and has a way of making everyone laugh. She gets the zoomies like a puppy, does a little dance when she’s happy, and soaks up attention like it’s her job. She’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for just about any family. She’s also the full package when it comes to manners—crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Demi is ready for her forever home, where she can keep working on her “glow-up” while spreading love, joy, and belly laughs every single day.

Story
Meet Bella-boo! 🥰 While driving to a vet visit for another pup, Bella-boo was found foraging for food on the side of a rural highway with no houses around. She was understandably hesitant to approach, but some food did the trick! She has come around to be one of the most loving, cuddly brindle lap dogs. Bella will be your shadow, but she also loves to run around in the back yard, and is a good alert dog. Most importantly, Bella-boo, lovingly nicknamed Baby Girl, LOVES to snuggle and sleep on the bed. She has no concept of personal space, for either people or other dogs. She loves to lick other dogs in the face, so if you have a dog already, be sure they are patient, and love to snuggle with other dogs! She's fully vetted and ready for her forever home!
